Benji's Gallery of "All and nothing...!"

As written in an earlier post, here, it's been a while since I last have posted any work.

But here's my new Inquisition Warband.

I really like that they are a bit more thougher than the Witchhunters fluff-wise.

I have an old Witchhunter warband with a fire/light - spanish theme. (flamboyant and red/ yellow colours, lots of torches and lanterns).

With these, I wanted them to be old in the business and more British like.

I'm really sorry that some of the pics are tipped, but my program wouldn't work with me...

Let me present for you:

The Ordo Malleus Cluster
This gang have had many replacements through the years, this is what's still left.

At first we have The Inquisitor: Alasdair Ward or called by his crew; "Mr. Ward".
He's a gentry, but the 3th brother in the right of inheritance. His oldest brother got the country estate, the other became a bishop and brought the young adventures boy with him to the Inquisition. All that happened many years ago Mr. Ward is present more like ... working freelance for the church.

Next, we have: Daemon Hunter: Virgil Whiting (I call him VolksWagen). He used to be a forester, but after he lost his wife and son to a werewolf, he's been hunting those bastards!

Second Daemon Hunter: Patience, behind her back, called "Curse". Rumors says that it's because the men in the Cluster believe that having a woman in the gang means bad luck. But won't complain, cause she's the daughter of Mr. Ward. Other says that it's because Patience curses like a Reikland river pirate...

Last Daemon Hunter: Mathews Davenport, A former fletcher and crossbow maker, who joined Mr. Ward and his cluster 12 years ago. Besides making the weapons, he's also very competent with a crossbow. He's also the one who conduct the hangings.

The final Hero, the Pupil, an upcoming Inquisitor: Alexander Westfall, has been Mr. Wards pupil for 9 years now. Following him for 11, faithfully recorded his mentors actions and history, handed him over his favorite sword when needed, and have even taken a arrow, for Mr. Ward once.

The Henchmen

The Flagellant: He is sworn to piety, that might be why some of the guys call him "Petey", but not very loud. He's is known for his trance like mental condition, and fearsomeness in battle. Witch would have brought him lots of trophys, if you would be able to identify it...

The Zealot: Cornelius, a former dock nightguard in Marienburg. Joined Mr. Ward and his men 2 years ago. Has still a lot to learn...

2nd Zealot: Mr. Johnson. No one really know anything about Mr. Johnson. He's a kind, but solitary man. He's a reliable shooter, but drinks a little too much. Apparently he's protecting a dark deep secret from the past...

The 3rd and last Zealot: Rick. A very eager and enthusiastic young lad. Supposed to be a Bechafen city guard, but Mr. Ward caught his attention... And now he's using his bow and some of his enthusiasm hunting daemons!

Thats the The Ordo Malleus Cluster family. I think next up is a Daemon hunter ogre bodyguard...

Very atmospheric and evocative settings for very interesting characters.

I love the creative use of bits/parts from various models to create new ones. I particularly fancy Alexander Westfall. His pose just seems so natural.

My only complaint is with the pose of Matthews Davenport. The way he holds the crossbow looks a bit awkward.

Other than that, great job!

Looks damn sweet, nice atmosphere I especially like "Alexander"
Perhaps we can find some time, over this rainy summer, and have a few fights

Cool stuff! The surroundings, as noted, add a lot of ambience. Great gang! Patience is my favourite - inventive use of bits!

The pose of Mathews, truly looks odd oon the pics, but is actually quite natural.

Love it! Very faithful to Mordheim's setting - both miniatures and scenery.

Great use of the camera too. Very inspirational altogether!

VERY ATMOSPHERIC STUFF! You've captured the sinister Witch Hunter persona WONDERFULLY! Color choices & brushwork are excellent.
The Graveyard is a BEAUTIFULLY EERIE piece...a perfect setting for the Sigmarite Fanatics. VERY WELL DONE!

Wow, astonishing piece of terrain your graveyard, not to mention your superfast performed Warbandbuilding rage that came out with a new witchhunterwarband.Thumbs up!
The Graveyard looks exactly like he has to, concerning the typical graveyard elements: Dead tree with gibbet on, several tombstones, up and down going terrain and a little housing , not to forget the wall with a kind of fence / spikes on top! One of the best graveyardpieces i have seen so far!

Very nice bunch of conversions!!

These guys all look great! I think Rick is my favorite of the bunch, but then again, it's probably because I like the idea of a crazed maniac with a ranged weapon!
