Hi, folks. This is my first post other than the intro. I've been working on a little 3x3 foot Mordheim table for me and my sons to play on.

Pics on my blog. So far just a couple of posts.

Many of you have served as inspiration for this build and as sources for stolen ideas Smile so comments are welcome.

It looks really good so far, but I think it's missing a little weathering mate - it looks too clean to be broken up like that. Some careful 'dirtying-up' would tie the ruined look together.

Great looking collection! I do agree that it needs to be ''dirtied up'' a little... they are ruins after all :-)

and maybe some debris piles and barricades here and there...

VERY COOL gaming board you & your sons created...the piece Mark came up slightly edges out the rest of the pack. You've got a GREAT Family Project going there...keep us updated & keep up the FINE WORK! thumbsup

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the encouragement. Smile This is a fun little project. And, thanks especially, Deafnala. Mark appreciated your comment. He's made some great little projects, two really nice dice rollers among the top. I really liked his use of the round windows.

I just just dirtying up the buildings with black washes and some weathering powders. Also was working on a Modular Gothic Ruin from Gamecraft Miniatures, and a couple of ramps to access the platforms. I hope to have some pics in the next few days.

Looks great, and inspires me as well. I would like make a smaller table, we have a portable 4x4 and 4x6 set up that my friend hauls around, but would like one for myself and sons to use.

I was thinking of 3x3. How does it play? We can mark out the area and test it but if any of you have gained any insight I would be appreciative on some tips for game adjustments?

Hi, Mike. I've played on 4x6 and 4x4 foot tables as well as 3x3 tables in the past. In my opinion 3x3 plays a little faster and favors close combat warbands a little.

I just posted some new pics of the table after adding some weathering effects.
