| Nice poses, especially the spear-guy. What are you going to do about the leaf in the face of he one with the sword? GS a scarf or something? Now do some more and paint them! | |

| VERY COOL LOOKING Pointy Eared Guys! You achieved a nice feel of motion with your SPLENDID kit-bashing/converting. Keep up the GOOD WORK! The paving stone bases look fine. You might add a couple f lines of static grass between the stone as a finishing touch. | |

| Excellent conversions! Somehow I've avoided buying the plastic white lion kit, but this has me reconsidering that... | |

| Top quality kit-work Trev. You've managed to master a few of the various sylvan kits to create a totally unique look! The brilliant finish supplied by the pallett of cold & neutral colours gives your rangers a 'hard' image. I am particularly impressed with the combination of white lion and dark elder wyches components. There are some terrific characterful heads available from those new dark eldar plastic sets, a little more weather-beaten and flea-bitten in battle than your average elven wayfarers. My favourite is the spear/stave wielder. He might just be completing a diving charge! Quality stuff mate. Regards, Stu | |

| I also think that the hair and ribbon on the axes look weird and was to suggest you leave them off. The left henchman looks just fine, but the right one is about to fall over. If you model stairs that he is supposed to step on, they should be higher, I guess. Other than that, nice work, keep it up! | |

| VERY NICE additions, both painted & not. The axes might be a bit on the inflatable side, but I'm sure they will look fine when painted up.I have a mixed reaction to the streamers/hair on the axes; it does give a sense of motion...downward; the "weird" look, I think, will be diminished when painted. | |

| I need to put another pic of that henchman up because in the pick he does look like he's leaning too much.I think the ribbon and hair look weird because the the cape is flowing in a different direction.
Thanks for the comments guys

| Love the poses/overall feel you have achieved with these kitbashes. The Empire has long dominated kit-bashing with its deep line of plastic kits, but the elves are catching up (with some help from recent Dark Eldar kits).
To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the most recent model, because those axes are clearly two big to be wielded one-handed (in general I am not a fan of exaggerated, over-sized weapons), although otherwise I love that pose.
BTW, the Dark Elf corsair plastics and the wood elf plastics work very well together!
Thanks for sharing, Tre. That is going to be a very striking warband when you are done!

| You were right mweaver the axes look too big. I have trimmed them down a bit and I think the look a little less conan like. thanks again for the input guys. Tre | |

| Good decision on the axes, I'd say. What I prefer is to not cut the weapons but just to use files so the blades are thinner. (btw there is still a mouldline on the inside of one of the axes' blades). | |

| A few more models. two shade proxys, still wip but I think the wyche models seem to work well. These next two are going to be my fellblade proxys not 100% sure of the sheild/spear guy... next up.. sorceress, was going to be a beastmaster but I think we are going to cut one hero of the dark elf list to balance my warband to the play group so I'll probably use it as a sorceress proxy or make another, and then hold this back for a beastmaster for fun games. And lastly the warband so far, | |

| I like them all ,some really mobile poses going on there.
The only slight change i would make is to the Shade proxies. I would fill in the "slut" holes in the trousers, as they look a little S&M for Elves.
Ignoring that very minor fluff thing though they look excellent.

| Good job on the painting. As for ideas for bases, just add some little amounts of sand or a skull. | |
