in this link you could find almost every kind of gladiator...
typologies
...unluckly it's in italian but...if you copy and paste every latin name you could find something with google...

Here you could find something else...but it's not complete..

Oh guys, look who made it out of my " still to do " box, yes its, him, the crazy ogre gladiator who escaped the pits of mordheim, willingly lending his muscels for gold and spicy bits of human flesh to every one who can achieve it.
Well, seems like i am in sculpting mood again, so, i started on his torso, the helmet, and his shield. I decided to go after the hoplomachus style gladiator for him, but swapping the curved sword for a somewhat simple shortsword, a gladius if you will. Helmet will look like the last one that drakkol send in this post here, but iam trying to make a face mask that will open halfway, and only reveling a part of his ugly visage. well, lets wait and see how it will look, cause its not an easy task i think. I also dropped the visor on the ogre knight, cause i think it will be to much, destroying the whole modell, so why not keep it simple..
But enough talk, here are the WIP pics, enjoy and please comment, floedebolle

A FINE START to another unique mini...seems like Ogres are becoming your monster of choice. Even at this stage the potential for a strange sort of Oh-So-Coolness is evident. Keep up the GREAT WORK! thumbsup

Hej guys, update time!
Well, i managed to work on the sword, the shield inside, the helmet, and i am sorry to tell you that the shoulder guard turned out to be to big, oversizing everything near it, so i had to drop it.Instead i started on a new one, going to be finished soon. I also planned to leave the typical warhammerish ogre bellyshield, and instead use the linenclothe wrapped around his groin and waist the real gladiator style. But i aslo want to give him plated feet, the chaos warrior style of the 80Žs, and a shinguard to his left leg, shield side.
I think it cant be seen at this stage due to the lack of contrast, but i tryed to copy the hammered relief style of the original helmts withe a negative of the skeleton army warmaster thingy, i just pressed it into the mold and wrapped it carefully around the helmet head part. As soon as it will be painted and highlighted one should recognize the moving skeleton army on his helmet.
Well, enough writing, let the pics speak for themselves:

LOOKIN' BIZARRE in a GOOD sort of way! The closed visor does work SPLENDIDLY with the Ogre's profession/persona. AND the fletching on the arrow is WONDERFUL. GREAT WORK as always!   thumbsup

Hola Senores, hoy updates de pura raza mordheim:
mirad!:

i thought iŽd give him some kind of shin-guards too, and the shoulder guard will recieve some fastening leatherstraps over breast and back. ALso a loin cloth of some kind, and maybe some roman style leather tassels dangeling in front of his herbert, of course one will be able to have a clear view onto the crown jewels from behind , as you can see on bufo the frogman!Wink
