I just throw this one out but why dont you try some green like those green parrots, it will also be fitting with Orcs

I haven't done yet, but I do plan on adding some soon!

I'm amazed that after all these O&G warbands you NEVER took any Squigs! Lovely work on the Squigparrot, I'd like to see some more colours on the feathers as well. Much like the parrot on Alan's picture.

The Rotmoons' Drummer "completes" the warband... but I may still add a few more Boyz for fielding them as a Warhammer unit!

Going back in time a little now! In late 2009 / early 2010 I was using the Gloomwyrms in Flame On's Bell, Book and Candle Mordheim campaign and in Da Warpath's Animosity 4 campaign. Since then they have languished in a warband box. But so they can return to the gaming table I have made a Standard Bearer and a Musician for the Cathayan Pirate Orcs. The musician's big Chinese drum is also a unit filler of sorts!

Pretty cool! I really like the drum, might consider it for my Cathayan Pirates, too

@Captain Bernhardt - The flag is from the Skaven Doomwheel and the drum is from the LotR plastic Mordor/Isengard Troll.

Both pieces are VERY WELL DONE! I especially like the freehand Dragon on the Banner & Drum...it reminds me of the Liberty Dragon adorning my dress blue from the distant past. The ranked up unit looks SUPERB!

Freehand on the drum is really, really good - excellent piece! The whole unit looks smashing, but they rock even more as individuals.

The Glowworms were the best thing to come out of A4.* Nice to see them with their own colors. (Are they entering the Karibbean contest?)

The drummer is pure genius.

Just went thru all 17 pages...wow!!!

Every page has loads of cool creations, great use of weird bitz and gobs of greenstuff...

Just as I was about to add that you should have added some dead fish...the trolls got them...

However, I am not sure I saw any fishbones (other than tattoos) perhaps one of the squigs could have some fish bones in their maw!!! just a thought....keep up the great work!

Next, after the Gloomwyrms, I'm moving the Rotmoons from Mordheim warband to Warhammer regiment but they are short a few hands, so 4 of the Boyz from the unit they replaced get a slight re-paint. Yes, I keep hearing that... it'll get through to me eventually but I'm going to play a few games with 3 mobs of 20 (and lots of fun toys) and see how I do. I do have the spare Orcs to boost the unit sizes now (though I'll want to update their paint schemes too!)

I haven't a clue as to what bonuses the G.W. Designers added to the Big Battalions to make them attractive toe the Power Gamers, but, as a fairly aggressive war gamer in my day, I found the flexibility of smaller units are terrific at tying up the big cumbersome formations...those 4 X10 formations look to be a royal pain in the nether regions to manuever .

I agree. I used to do the same. Small skirmish units to anoy and bind up the larger heavy units. Not to mention that they have to be dealt with, or they run amok and capture objectives and are a general nuiance

I got to say this as well... some really cool stuff going on here, I love all your little conversions, and the cleaver use of your bit box!

Oh one more thing. Pardon an old and slow gamer, but what is O+G? And also, what does the Karribean Contest mean?

O+G (or O&G or OnG) is just short for "Orcs and Goblins"

The Karribean Contest is a competition being run in the lead-up to Karibbean Dawn Campaign the Kaptain Blacksquig is running.
