On the fringe of the Forest Lorraine, Francois sat alone in the Cafe nursing his cognac & softly sobbing. The Cafe owner approached the desolate figure.
"So Francois, did not you & your pig, Marie, find the truffles."
"No, the truffle ate my Marie."

I did some basing yesterday; AND since I had some extra putty, I made the caps for three more Mushrooms. I think I'm going to try for a couple of leaping ones..death from above.

In a bout of BLOODY MINDED OBSTINACY, I went back through the whole thread & restored all the broken links...OH BABY!

The latest Group are various types of a new sub-species, named for the long clown like fringe/collar under their caps: The Clara Bella Mushrooms. First up are an experiment in capturing the Lads in mid leap:





Some Cyclops Clara Bellae; the astute observer will not that the center Fellow shows the "smoking gun" aspect: i.e, a noticeable distending of the stem & a protruding hand of his lunch:

I'm thinking about stealing your mad mushrooms for some sceneries of my own. Not that I'd ever manage the same, unique style that you have created!

For those younger members of the Forum or those not familiar with OLD American T.V. shows, Clarabell was a clown on the Howdy Doody Show...a mind rotting childrens' show of the '50s. SO here are the Clara Bella Boys with some paint...awaiting basing.

C'mon over or down as the case may be. Visitors to Horseshoe Bay are always welcome at my place. Horseshoe Bay is a resort community...mostly golf, fishing, & boating. We're about an hour outside of Austin, which is noted for music, fine foods, & being nuts.

It should be scary to be trapped in that forest °_0 .. WOW .. like it!
