| On an armouring forum I frequent the greatest fad thats caught on is a 5 star review system on transactions between people. This allows you to search up threads about them and see if they are good to do business with or not. This is how it goes
1-5 stars for price 1-5 stars for quality 1-5 stars for speed 1-5 stars for communication
As some of you may have seen a member of this forum scammed me as we set up a trade for 1 box of Dark Elf warriors for one box of Empire Militia. I sent mine (including a cool conversion I did) but he never sent his. When Admin Tom heard of this he offered to send me what he had left of his militia sprue and being a broke student I accepted this. Here is my review of Tom and his product.
5 stars for price, they were free (well except for the losing a whole box set) so the price can't be beat. In addition it showed me how good this community can be as someone not involved in the transaction was willing to help right a wrong.
5 stars for quality. The Sprues were not melted or pitted or anything, he took care of them and packaged them well. An envelope with bubble wrap (so glad for the bubble wrap cause my dog got the envelope and tore it to shreds but not the bubble wrap so the sprues were fine).
5 stars for speed. Took a while but it was being shipped across the Atlantic so thats not surprising.
5 stars for communication. Tom contacted me and responded to my questions very quickly.
All in all I can recommend doing business with Admin Tom and that shouldn't be surprising since we see his awesomeness all the time on these boards. Thanks to you Tom now I'll be putting together a little Marienburger warband.

| Think people are going to moan that there is allready the plus 1 systemn, However I think this is much better as you can see which part of the transaction was good/bad rather than just how many times they have succesfully traded with another.
And looks like someone has a special place for Tom ;D 5 stars all the way!
Anyway, Yeh good feedback dude ^^

| Well I don't think anyone can enforce people to do this, it just helps a lot.
"Oh Tom!" *Swoon* (he did good on this, I'm ever grateful for his help)

| Something to keep in mind is the focus of the Forum: it is primarily a place to discuss painting/modeling & games play in a spirit of Good Fellowship. The Trading Pit, in keeping with the Good Fellowship thingy, is a place to get & give assistance finding minis et al, swap unwanted pieces for wanted stuff, and that sort of thing. While it is tremendously enjoyable swapping stuff, sending,& receiving packages, this is not the primary function of the Forum. That falls more in the realm of sites like Cool Mini or Not. | |
