folketsfiendes Bounty Hunters

The Ash Wastes-setting is really inspiring. The bringing together of 40K and Mad Max is fantastic. Below you can find my first attempt at a Ash Wastes-gang, namely the Passim Adomim - Bounty hunters galore! The minis are mostly from Infinity and Void, with some 40K and Forge World-additions.

LOVE the Ash Waste setting! It is the COOLEST of Necromunda , which is at least tied with Mordheim as the COOLEST of GW's games. You've got some GREAT LOOKING stuff there...especially the Gas Masked Dino & the Trukk. VERY WELL DONE & INSPIRING BEASTIES!

Some development of the gang. What could make a man riding a huge strange beast happier than a big effin gun? Nothing - that's what! So, bought my Bounty hunter specialist Tsabar an autocannon:



One of the most effective heavy weapons of the ash wastes is the heavy plasma gun, and if you model it around a dreadnought plasma cannon it will be ridiculously big, and look mighty intimidating...





Finally, a new bounty hunter in the gang:

COOL! As a Fellow BIG GUN Fan, I think the upgrade REALLY makes the minis stand out...intimidation can be fun.

Awesome gang! Man I miss necromunda! I never played the ash wastes, the lack of terrain scared me away from it!

Great use of VOID models, I always loved that beast with the gas mask!

Me and hamster use at least eigth terrain pieces. Driving vehicles the right way becomes much more important then.

VOID does make some great models, and they're comparatively cheap!

They're made to fit. So I use glue. In some cases the legs are sculpted to the back of the beast, and you glue the torso on.

As their creator I was surprised to finf the Urban Mammoth no longer carries the Void range in their catalog...bummer . They do, HOWEVER, have the oh-so-cool Urban Wars stuff, which is similar: http://www.urbanmammoth.com/acatalog/ .
Fantization, BTW, is a nice outfit to deal with. If stuff is backlog you DO have to remind them should it not turn up within an appropriate amount of time.

Cool! Remember that it's not cost efficient to have many beasts/vehicles, go for one bigger, and a couple of smaller ones. Big guns are what decide the outcome of the battle, so it's often better to have fewer models, but properly equipped! Good luck (I know you'll have fun)!
