Hi everyone!

well.. i'm a first time player as many of you have noticed (on newbie's topic) and i would like to know how to start painting them, as i never painted any miniature =P!

i have recently bought six High Elfs.. from warhammer..

but i don't know where to start.. paints to use.. etc..

and the main problem is that i don't know any games-workshop store, or something like that!!

i could post pics soon, if it helps..

Thanks ^^

Well that really is a problem.
If you can't locate a store in Argentinia I would try to find a store which sends the stuff cheap(via internet), but I fear most of the online stores will have rather high costs of shipping.

But where did you get the elves from?

Hey Berny Chan!
Yup, this is really some kind of problem. I searched a little bit on google but the only thing I could find was this:
http://foros.3dgames.com.ar/showthread.php?t=124674
it's a list of places where people from Buenos Aires meet to play tabletop games... if you're from Buenos Aires maybe this could interest you...

Anyway, like Erkwin said, you'll probably need to buy your paintings on the Internet. I think you already read this topic on this forum about "which painting to use":
http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/Painting-and-Modelling-f3/Which-paints-to-use-t2.htm

And when you do have your paints and want to start painting, I can only recommend this post on Tom's blog about undercoating and drybrushing:
http://boringmordheimblog.blogspot.com/2007/04/dont-panic.html

Hope this helps... good luck !

Tortiu: thanks 4 the links, i'm studing at Buenos aires, so no problem...
any way i cheked that places and they are orientated to d&d, vampire:_ the masquerade, etc..

Erkwin: there are some places wich import miniatures(metal) most of them don't import paints.. and they told me to use normal acrylic paints, i think there isn't gonna be problem.. but i don't know certanly.. ^^
