Well i've finaly gone(been sneakerly pushed in the right direction by my brother and his mate) to the green side by wich i meen i am now a follower of the great gods Gork and Mork and have been wondering what the wonderful people of this forum think of the greenskins whether they be about Mordheim, Warhammer, 40K or anything in else.

P.S any mods or admins feel free to move this if you think its in the wrong place.

Orc(k)s & GOBLINS are the FINEST of all War Bands/Armies.The Sun rises & sets in my Goblins' eyes...the Mushroom Brew they consume MAY have something to do with this. If you have an overactive sense of the absurd & don't tend to take things all that seriously, Orc(k)s & GOBLINS are for you. Going Green 544694

I also love the greenies, but as strange as it sounds, i have never, EVER, played with them! I think this is mainly because everyone else around me does, and we wouldnt want Mordheim to turn into Gorkamorka Fantasy...

... or would we? Going Green Icon_twisted

I usually go with "Plan A". Charge!!! Going Green 387809

The play styles for the three games are quite different but usually the way to win with Orcs is through numbers - lots and lots of Boyz will generally win the day.

I'm working on a WFB Orc and Gobbo army at the moment. I'm in the Tale of painters on Warseer so I'm using that as a structure to build the army up slowly. Basically build and paint 200ish points per month. After a year we have a 2000pt army built and painted (including 2 jokers we can play if we can't hit deadline for 2 of the 12 months).

Same principle can be applied to any army. Set yourself whatever deadline and work towards it in stages. It stops you burning out trying to do a whole army at once.

If you start with WFB, it means you can also use those models in Mordheim. Handy huh?

Of course, if you do Orks for 40k, it gives you a good excuse to play Gorkamorka too. Wink

Well, i used to play a Whfb Ork+gobz army but with Bfsp came the dwarfs Going Green Icon_smile but i play 40k orks and with orks strategy is everything, mine is charge at that, put some more dakka in that. Going Green Icon_twisted but you can make a mainly warbike army because you can mount Nobz and your warboss and even your Mek and take bikes as your fast attack so you can have something like 24'ish bikes in total and as troop choices take boyz with trucks as decatd transport and for heavy support put a few battlewagons in there Going Green Icon_smile
