Kadzik's Pirates Warband

This band is made to use as Pirates and Marinburgers both. Cause on polish tournaments pirates warband is forbidden I focuse on Marienburg aspect, but I've got much more fantastic Black Scorpion miniatures, so in far future there will be more men (and women) with cats o'nine tails and even swivel gun.
All miniatures were coated with matt varnish before photo session, so some of them glosse a little.
Manteufel, Simon, dwarf and merchant were painted in September this year, others even year before. I hope you see the progress in my painting skill

Captain Erwin von der Manteufel. I've use handguns as crossbows. This is the only exeption from WYSWIG.




Otton, former captain, but he were OoA all the time, and on serious injury roll I always rolled 11-15. He will be propably the captain in Pirate warband.

Gustav, champion with brace of pistols. My favourite miniature




Warriors and marksman with blunderbuss. This guy in the middle (he looks like Keith Richards from Rolling Stones, don;t you think ) is also a boatswain.



There is also another blunder guy Simon.



I've got also marksman with handgun, warrior with double-handed axe, and another boatswain painted, but photos of them are always blurr or something


Now Hired Swords
First is ogre with mortar on his back. Painted last year, but I bought gold paint two weeks ago, so on first photo the gun is black.




Merchant, by polish mordheimers called "shepherd"





Tobi, the troll slayer. He was made a day before tournament, so he is not so piratish. I will add an anchor to his hand, and maybe a pitol on his back. Also his feet are now painted

Wooooha I love them... Your goblin cook is so cute and I would love to taste his mushroom soup... And you paint great... But I have a hard time to pronounce some of the names

Nope,
all (except merchant, who is Corvus Belli; ogre, dwarf and gobos of
course) are Black Scorpion, IMO the best miniatures for pirates.

Hummm... well you do have some good minis there but you lack a jolly roger, peg leg, swivel gun and bird (and maybe a monkey) for your band when you play Pirates. Overall good work man!

Another OH SO TALENTED Polish painter...VERY COOL! A FINE looking Band of Rogues you've created. I LOVE the Goblins, especially the Cook...I'm an Goblin Guy. All VERY WELL DONE!

As I said, now I focus on Marienburg aspect. I've got miniatures prepared to be gunner with swivel gun, mates and cabin boys with cats etc. I'm trying to sculpt a parrot also, but it's harder than I thought

That REALLY is VERY COOL! It takes a concerted effort to make a successful getaway on a peg leg...he's a suitably NUTS looking Guy. VERY WELL DONE!

Excellent stuff. I've been wanting to do a pirates warband forever but just haven't gotten around to it.

I've just finished painting my boat. After decades of sailing on rivers and coastal waters, in the rain or in the heat, wood have feaded. It looks perfect for ruined town

VERY COOL little ship! Using the push pins as railing was an EXCELLENT idea...they have a myriad of uses for modeling. VERY NICE WORK!

My granpa carved small boat years ago. Paint had penetrated surface so much, that I've had to covered it with wood (taken from friut basket)

Sweet little boat there to go with the warband. You might want to add a rail to your posts and put a railing above the cabin too. Got to have somewhere to mount the swivel guns!

Oh yea, the boat is not finished yet I keep proper place for swivel gun
