Is it better to give an Ogre Bodyguard 2 single hand or 1 double hand weapons? I ask this because I can see the appeal of +2S but the model I want to use looks great with 2. Thanks in advance

With the official rules set, best to give him a sword (for the parry) and a club (for the expanded stun). If you're using the optional Advanced Critical Tables, you might also consider 2 clubs.

Since an ogre is fairly strong already, I would lean towards two hand weapons to get more attacks rather than a two-handed weapon, however I've never used one so I can't definitively say that one is better than the other.
If the model you want to use has two hand weapons, I would be inclined to recommend that you equip him with those in the rules to avoid confusion though.
