| FUNNY YOU SHOULD MENTION IT...I've been having problems with my normall OH SO reliable Krylon Matte finish. I found hitting the minis with a second coat of Testor's Dull Coat straightened the thingy out. The Beastman & his Frenzie Friend turned out VERY NICELY, AND I REALLY like the new Beasty Guy you picked out. COOL STUFF! | |

| That Beastman you chose is awesome! Do you know what manufacturer he is? It's a really cool piece, very dynamic. Your three beastmen are very unique and stand apart from one another, which is nice (especially for a game like Mordheim!) because I find that GW's beastmen kind of tend to all blend together.
I also like your frienzied Mordheimer - I've always loved that model.

| Myntokk: The beastman is Traeg, Beastman Hero, Manufactorer: Reaper I tell you, reaper does good stuff I really didn't want to have beastmen that looked alike. I did save one of the old beastmen (we sold the rest) just in case I wouldn't find any good figures before I needed one more. I also thought about making another one from scratch but that would mean that I had to slaughter one of my orcs since I don't have any good torsos left loose. And I don't want to slaughter my orcs and goblins army even if I have about 4000 points Mordheimer: We have a lot of tyranids parts so I just had to use them in some way I really love the nids and I love the bits And Chtulhu is king Deafnala: So ot got better when you varnished one more time? That would be great if that would be the solution... I will go buy new varnish today so that I can varnish again, I think that when painting metal figures, varnishing is so important and I tend to varnish 3-4 times so that the paint really stays... But this time I have only varnished one time and with a really thin layer (I usually use pretty thick varnish since I do like much varnish) And this has never happened before... I do like the frenzied mob, just sad that they are not mine We own them together with the rest in our association | |

I hope that's some help. ah .... how in the name of the seven gates of hell did you get the lettering on it ??? I use ordinary pencil to make lettering (Deafnala is probably so skilled that he does it with his brush) But I am not that skilled and I think it gets just as good with pencil...

| Well, I don't know about the skilled part , but I do use a brush. The trick is to use a relatively short bristled brush with a VERY good point. The paint should be thin enough to flow without running. Count up the letters including spaces of your phrase. Starting with the middle letter or space work outward in both directions. It's pretty simple...just like moi. It just requires a bit of practice & patience. | |

| I hope I don't drag this thread too far off topic with this post... AND I apologize beforehand if I do. I got to visit The War Store ONCE awhile ago; it's about 30 miles due East of moi. It's not so much a store as it is an experiece...a VERY IMPRESSIVE if somewhat strange experience. The store is a LARGE greenhouse on the equally LARGE owner, Neil's, parents farm. Inside it's packed from floor to ceiling with enough WONDERFUL STUFF to keep a small army of speed painters occupied for several lifetimes...in other words IT'S HEAVEN. | |

| Yup, won she did, allthough the Undead of Count Valekstein did not go empty handed from the Wyrdstone hunt, routing of with 2 shards and gaining another 4 later. The only casualty in the whole fight was a ghoul that had been pounded senseless by Trulsas "spawn" possessed. So a good and profitable battle all in all.
Oh and unlikely hero of the match was undoubtedly a lowly brethren who managed to "masterstrike" my vampire to a sprawling Knocked down with one carefully aimed arrow at the start of the battle. The Count miraculously survived though...peew!

| Very cool use of the Possessed body (which with its original head and... i dunno, crabclaw?- looks a bit silly). Good job, now paint that sucker | |

| The crabclaw is really silly, I don't like the possessed models from GW, but the bodys are GREAT!! All the details and all the faces in the body, I love it... This head is a naga head that is sooo ugly on the naga but it fits really well on a possessed... And I do like the dryad heads, they look cruel... And now I have soon used all kinds of bits that we have here at home tyranids, orcs, vampire counts and wood elves. Next must be dwarfs Maybe a dwarven brethren Or dwarf mutant I must start experimenting | |

| I am so longing to paint it, I think it has dried enough now but I don't know if I should do something more with it... Haven't decided yet...
Thanks for the kind words, I really need it right now, since my preagnacy isn't going as well as I had hoped for, it is not fun to feel sick for 11 weeks and to be so tired that you can't stay wake an hour after waking up...

| That is an awesome possessed model! I think if you were to add anything, it should be another dryad head (maybe two), but it looks great as-is! | |

Chicken soup from hell, that is the first thing in a long time that actually sounds really good Could you please send some over I guess that I have put myself into this situation So I just have to stand it and hope it passes soon... At least I have got the swine flu shot, without any adverse drug reaction... The two dryads heads that I have put there fits great at the model, to add another one would mean I have to find a spot to put it on that hasn't any built in faces in his body already (You remember how many nice faces the possessed body already have built in from the beginning)
