| Hi all again
I have talked about this in a previous post (about scorpion tail and doublehanded weapons, etc).
I thought about a few other examples that I would like some second oppinions on.
1st: Spines-mutation inflict a stun on an opponent - can the mutant/possessed automatically take the stunned chracter OoA since hits from spikes occour before melee combat (or at the beginning of each combat fase - i.e. before all other attacks (even strike first)) - I am inclined to say no.
2nd: spells that cause wounds or knock downs happens during the shooting fase. If a wizard charges and cast spell that stuns the opponent - can he then automatically take the stunned character OoA - again same round, but different fase. - In this case I am inclined to say yes.
Let me know your thoughts

| 1) SPIKES I would say no, because it is the same combat phase.
2) SPELL Yes, because the model starts the combat phase knocked down. Didn't think about that one. Nice!
Cheers,

Let me know your thoughts I agree with you. My Undead warband makes most of its killings having my vampire charging a model and hoping for my necromancer to knock out or stun giving my vampire an easy kill and making sure my fragile undeads live to see another moon. |

THIS IS ALLOWED IN MORDHEIM?! why wasn't I informed of this?! In WHF you are not allowed to shoot into combat, and since movement is don first (i.e. charges) then followed by magic and shooting, you would always be shooting or casting into close combat... help me out here if this is allowed in mordheim at all times or not...? cause that would grant me some grand benefits! (loaded with pistols and crossbows in my list...

| The thing is that in Mordheim quite a few spells are NOT considered shooting, so they can be used while in combat. Thee is not the exact equivalent of "magical missile" like in WHF. So yes, you can do it. I hadn't thought about it but suddenly it makes magic more useful. Cheers, Xavi | |

| Yes to both. The spines are before combat thus don't apply to "normal" HTH rules Yes, spellls offer that advantage, In the 9 years of playing I have never seen it happen but it seems Cianty has. | |
