| Ooooh, while on the subject of random tangents, does anybody else find that their projects affect what music they listen to?
These Norse have got me back listening to The Knife again. Probably the Scandinavian link. And the almost chaotic music seems to have worked well for inspiring the conversions.

Actually I'm doing most of my painting and converting in the evening in front the TV because during the day I don't have the time. My music is only affected by my mood, my miniatures do not affect my mood.

| Cheers for the kind words.
I am waiting for a couple of bits to show up before I start the next few hero models. Have vague ideas for the 2nd Champion and Shaman.
The henchmen have been getting put off as one of them will have to be scratch sculpted and I'm not sufficiently motivated yet.

| It'll be a while yet Cianty. I've only done 3 models for the warband. Still a looooong way to go. | |

| OK, it's been a while but I have gone back to the Marauders after a christmas break. No new pics yet I'm afraid. Camera related issues and such like. You will have to make do with random waffling instead. I have finally purchased the Marauder horsemen set so have some interesting heads for models plus a load of other bits. In fact, I have even decided to rework the warband slightly and equip one of my henchmen with a spear and shield just because it would look cool. Having said that, Marauders are I4 so a spear is not that bad a choice anyway. I'm still waiting on a steel whip for my 2nd Champion, I was meant to get one in a trade on Warseer but there has been no sign yet... Still, I hope to have the warband complete by the end of February as that's when I start my campaign. In other news, a combination of finding some Kislev Kossar models, a tame bear and some of the new heads from the Marauder horsemen means I have my next Mordheim project planned... | |

| Time for a Henchman just to prove I spend some time on them rather than just heroes. :p Marauder horseman spear arm inspired this model, he was going to have a mace before. I know there's amold-line on the spear, it will be fixed at the same time as I sort the messed up chainmail. And here he is with his shield blutacked on. It has to be said the Bretonnian Men-at-arms sprues have loads of awesome pouches and small weapons. Expect to see a few more on forthcoming figures. | |

| When I first got started in the craft, the quality & variety of minis was so dismally poor that everything HAD to be converted; SO...converting was a real drag. NOW that converting minis is not a necessity, but a means of being creative & making unique pieces, it's become a pleasure both to do & to see other folks work. Your creations are among the most enjoyable to see, & to follow their evotution. WELL DONE & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

| I LOVE the Champion! Your painting is great. The condemed is superb too, the way the scales are blending in with his skin, GREAT JOB! Your GS skills are extremely superior to my own, and for that, I am jealous, cant wait to see how he turns out. | |

| Tagnator: Thanks. Now I just have to keep telling people the pose wasn't inspired by 300. I haven't seen the film, but apparently this guy looks like someone from the film? Magnoliafan: Thanks. He'll get painted once the GS dries on areas I just fixed. Deafnala: Gotta have unique models. Otherwise it would be boring. Drugart: Don't be put off, keep practicing with your sculpting. There's still loads I have to learn but won't get anywhere if I don't practice. Chad: Thanks. | |
