| Just a very quick read, but given the WFRP4e gnomes' existence in Albion, why not play up that connection? The Albion summer campaign had Mordheim content, after all. In fact, my main suggestion is to reduce the "you can have a choice between these two 'schools' of magic for your caster," and instead just give the Shadowcaster the "Lore of Darkness" that the Dark Emissary uses. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yASbizRH3t9EKJJ3012zw0NuuOEVHAg0/view?usp=sharingSticking with the WFRP1e Gnomes gives more the appearance and attitude you are looking for, as well as that physiological [hard headed] similarity to dwarfs. You can find the whole in White Dwarf #86, pages 28-31. Stocky, slightly shorter than dwarfs, not all magicians [unlike in 4e], but still more like dwarfs than like halflings [whereas in 4e the reverse is true]. Heck, regarding them as a sub-faction of dwarfs might not go amiss. | |
