Hi people!!! Gibelino here. Personal proyect here. I was looking a Marius Dire mini and i realized it doesnt exist, or at least not in a official way. Soooo i decided to create one! A witchhunter version and a necromancer one! Hope you like it! Possitive criticism is always welcome!!

It’s a fantastic idea, but you might want to reconsider the proportions. I realise that miniatures do not generally match the artistic ideal but, nevertheless, I think that the heads on your renders are far too large.

Hi, thx for the feedback.Im working on heroic scales from GW. Is wierd to see indeed, but when you impress the mini it looks like Mordheim original ones(my favorite style). Torso and head has the same size and hands and details must be bigger than normal. Still getting used to them

My favourite style too. Another small suggestion is to add heels to the boots.
What’s the next step, prints? I’d be very interested to see the results. Also how your sculpts look when painted.

UPDATE
Hi guys, posting here some progress on Marius and other minis i have been working on. Print them was the hard part, since is the first time i model so i learned that ALL things need to be thicker in order to survive. Then, as i already said in this post, painting is not my strong point (espeacially faces as you might see).
By now i bring you :
Marius Dire (witchhunter version) Possesed ("The thing" carpenter style) Random imperial soldier (waiting to be paint).
Hope you like them!

Hey, fantastic that u share ur sculpts!!! They are amazing. I just started trying to sculpt some minis as well. Im curious about ur experience in printing them. Are the details, like the cross-stiches on the witchhunters glove, visible in the print? What kind of software do u use? U sculpted the hands quite well, i like it. Cool start, im looking forward to see more.

Hi PJB! Thx for answering. I have learn that every detail you want to be seen in the printed mini must be huge in the sculpts. As you mark, the cross stiches should be bigger since they didnt appear in the mini, so i changed it in the sculpt .Is a little wierd in the sculpt to ser all this things in strange proportions, but later you will not even notice it. About the software, im not the printer! A friend of mine print them for me, but i will así him !!

These have come through pretty darned well, especially for an early effort at sculpting/printing! That Possessed, especially, is a great looking monster.
Painting may not be your strong point, but you've certainly made a good start! If you want to do a bit more with them, I'd recommend using washes -- they're very easy, & can do a lot of the work of high-lighting. A flesh-shade wash on the skin is an easy step, but makes a big difference. & if you want bruised or sick looking skin (for a Possessed), red or purple washes or ink over regular skin colours make really good bruises.

No, i was asking for ur 3D sculpting software, like Blender, Zbrush, Maya etc. Im Using ZbrushCore by now, but it seems sometimes limited, so Blender would be great to learn for me. So i was curious about ur 3D Software.
Ur details, like the outline of the jacket of the witchhunter seem so precise, i would not now how to do it in my Zbrush by now.
Tnkas for ur reply.
