Thank you guys. For the most part they were fun to paint although I found the Warlord Games minis a bit more work- there is quite a bit of detail on them compared to the Foundry and Old Glory figures but I struggled to do it justice.

Ah, the hazard of sculpted detail -- it can make painting, especially batch-painting, quite hard going... Just look at any recent GW mini...

But these are damn nice work! Good look minis, & of course, that's terrain worth fighting for.

I took some time to paint some Blackstone Fortress minis but am back at the ECW right now. Possible game at the end of the month; we just have to sort out the social distancing thing.

The Blackstone Fortress models are, in the most part, beautiful pieces. But then each Corrupted Guardsman has a bunch of details to paint up, & they're essentially a swarm...

Good luck putting together a socially distanced game -- I suppose it's one great advantage of using a 6' board!

I really enjoy the BF minis; they are, as you said, wonderful minis. Without a deadline I took more time painting them and the detail wasn't an issue. I have some more of those WG dismounted cavalry coming and I will see if I enjoy the detail more with no deadline.
