Recently I have put some effort into starting up a cold, wind-swept type of board, where I guess the best description is probably "borderlands" or something. I guess it is in the mountains, like how I imagine it might look in the wilds of Nepal. Since it is inspired by Border Town Burning, I'm trying to do an Asian feel somehow.

The trick I guess is that this is not a place that would be crammed with terrain features, but it has to be to some extent to be interesting to play on. So I am trying to make it so it has features, but still looks a bit sparse. This is how far I got so far.




I plan to add some drifting snow at a later date, but so far so good.

I also made a monstrous yak-rhinox hybrid for my ogres to maybe ride some day.




Different colours of light really make a difference for photos. : )

That already is LOOKIN' GOOD! It has the potential to be something special. Keep up the GREAT WORK!

Thanks! I got a few MDF buildings from Sarissa Precision to add to the plateau board, thinking they will work well for an asian vibe.

I also made a temple dog, all sculpted from fimo.
