Great colourscheme on the tilean! The Purple and yellow works very well Smile

Oooo, I may be a little late, but I'm a big fan of that! Firstly, I love the Dogs of War Tileans (just the Perry Twins having fun sculpting perfectly accurate historical armour & passing it off as fantasy miniatures!), & then the boldness of yellow & purple -- with stripes all up the pike! Beautiful stuff.

Stripes on spears and pikes is the best I think. All the spears I have painted for Extended Mordheim have an effect like it, because it is so easy to do and looks so striking.

On that note, loads of stripes on pikes have been painted! Warband is almost ready, just need a few heroes...

Ohhh, classic Tileans fighting classic Lizardmen, it warms the cockles of my heart... A beautifully finished batch here! You're right, the striped spears are really striking looking, & I'll take your word that they're simple to do -- but I'll probably stick to painting my spear-shafts as solid lines for the most part... Maybe I'm just lazy.
