Warcry, being a warband-level fantasy urban skirmish game, is the latest game in the Mordheim slot. As far as I'm concerned, it won't replace Mordheim... but may be worth stripping for parts! Some of the warbands would make for great Chaos warriors or marauders, or even savage Norse. Others would make perfect cultists. & some are just Mordheimy as all get out...

There are some cool pieces in the mix, I like these:
They look to be fun miniatures that don't necessarily have to be taken seriously. The parts from the duplicate pieces could make interesting conversion parts.

I follow the news about Warcry closely for a while now and certainly am tempted. The starterbox also got tons of terrain and a small gamemat. The 130€ are something to consider though...
Given GW's current release pattern, you're pretty much guaranteed everything from the core box will be released separately later on. But if you just want bits of it, eBay is likely to have whatever you want from people stripping the core box for resale. Like a chaotic pick 'n' mix.

Those Warcry models sure look good. Hope to strip some them for good parts indeed!

About the only thing I have been springing for of late is Goblin related stuff...they are my main interest. Those Gargoyle looking guys might get a nod as Anti-Faeries.
