Happy Thanksgiving Al! The dragon is coming along nicely

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, Jim.
After spending a day playing around with the wings, I decided to leave them unadorned for now.
I may revisit them sometime or other or not, but for now the Faerie Dragon is done.
I took some photos of the Beasties in the Spooky Woods:












I used the retouch feature of The Camera of Continual Contrariness. The colors are closer to actual,
although the backgrounds got darker. C'est la vie, eh?!

well they look great to me - particularly the close-ups (this time), where one can't see the 'stage' surrounds.
they begin to suggest a sense of narrative immediately.

Thanks, Jim. Farerie/Fairy Dragon have a hallucinogen gas breath weapon. The colors are all part of that.

I have a couple of cluttered miniatures by forgotten mini maker's underway. I'll post pic when they are complete to avoid the jinx factor.
I have done a couple of additional large bases for either large minis or small groups. One is a tree stump base:




The other is a sewer base for the upcoming Vemina Sisters' Rat Gang:

Thanks, Codsticker. They may ver well wind up as vignettes/dioramas. Little scenes make nice situation or objective markers in game's terms...I just do them for the fun of it all.

I was very pleasantly surprised by Texas. Cap'n John's house is just off a nice sized stream that flows into Lake LBJ. The neighborhood is in a good sized grove of old pecan & living oak tress. The oaks are evergreens; so there is always some greenery even in the Winter.

In the early morning hours, long before the inhabitants of the Goblin Quarter begin to stir, a lonely figure shuffles along:




The Prophet of The Blight:






...an enigmatic figure to be sure. I think he was called The Seven Sins: Desire, but I have been wrong before.
He was made by either Laughing Monk or possibly Black Cat although in either case he is no longer available.
Don't you just love a good mystery?

Sometimes after I finish a piece that has spent a long time waiting in the wings, I get a wonderful feeling of release.
With his one I have the feeling I can finish anything I set my mind to.

The piece does have a tale or two to tell. It is one of the things that drew me to the piece.
