Hey guys and gals! I'm new to these forums, but not to gaming, although I have taken a rather long hiatus from it all. I've played just about everything GW has put out there and really loved it all, but a few years have passed since I've actually rolled the dice in anger... I always enjoyed Mordheim and found out that one of my new friends might actually be interested in playing a few games, so here I am...

As if I needed another forum to clutter my bookmarks up...

Well, I figured, since I have already been lurking here for quite a bit of my lifetime now, usually visiting several times a day, and since this forum seems to me like a place of civility, competence and generally jolly good cheer (this is the point where I pay my sincere respect, my thanks and my compliments to you people who do not even know me - and vice versa, of course -, but who together make up this place which has been holding a special position in my browser for quite a bit of my lifetime now, usually visiting several tim... wait, we already had that one)...

In earnest, I do not think I frequent other forums as often as this one (well, maybe the good old LAF ), and so... finally... I decided it would be not the worst thing to do joining in this exclusive club of gentlefolk that you - and maybe in the future, we - have here.

Being not a friend of lengthy introductions, I will leave it at that and with you to figure out this newest fledgling member of the board.

Hi! i'm Seano, but my vampire's name is olimar.
uh... i play in a big-ish league where i dominate uncontested. it actually makes me feel bad sometimes, because i'm 18 and most of the people who i play with are 50 year old hardcore tabletop vets who push everything from little boats to Napoleonic regiments, but i guess there's something about maneuvers on the skirmish level that they just don't understand. i tend to avoid direct combat in scenarios that don't mandate it, because let's face it- a statted-and-skilled-out vampire is almost stupid.

i exclusively play the undead.

in non-mordheimy news i swordfight competitively and play guitar/sing in an indie rock lullaby band called UP.
i'm currently going to clark college but plan on transfering to the university of oregon.

i like the art of war and though i'm a staunch pacifist i love learning about the methods of combat and leardership.
i consider myself a student and a novice when speaking to anyone on the subject and if you have any lessons or nuggets of wisdom to share, please feel encouraged to drop me PMs or replies. i enjoy being humbled, so if you're really good at this (or anything- chess, jump rope) and you happen to be in portland, oregon, please do aim to humiliate.

Hey Seano, I used to live in Portland, then in Vancouver not too long ago (about a year). I live up north now near Olympia. Where do you play down there? My favorite store in Portland is Guardian Games. I have actually been planning to go down and visit sometime soon.

Howdy all. This is my first post so i should introduce myself. I have played Mordheim since the 90's, but rarely have had a group to play with. I'm from Santa Maria, California (so if anyone plays near here let me know!)

I have Lizardmen and O&G for fantasy. I have Imperial Guard, Ultramarines and Tyranids for 40K. I have Humans, Orcs and an All Snotling team for Blood Bowl, but Mordheim was always my favorite.

I have Pit Fighters (painted even!), Norse Marauders (painting in progress), Orcs and Goblins, Marienburgers, and Dwarf Treasure Hunters. Although I've never been able to play a long campaign.

Anyways I have read this forum for a while and been really lazy so never signed up until now. I've been posting on the Yahoo group for a bit. Chatting recently about the Slayer Cult warband. Fun times!

other Portlanders- Bridgetown hobbies and games is my hangout- guardian is too magic/GW specific for most of our gaming (as i said, we do a lot of historical gaming.)
uh, our league games are usually at a friend's house in sandy, but we've been known to play at nexus in Gresham, also. if you're interested in our next campaign, it's ratings 250+ and it's going to be tourney style.

I collect vinyl and rpg's ( no tsr or wisards of the coast ), if was a pen and paper game I most likely have it. lost intrest in games workshop in the 90's when the prices started getting stupid, finding the prices just as nuts now, but with a love of Warhammer Quest, Epic, 40000, warhammer rouge trader I thought I would mod some minis make a board and give mordheim a go.

I got in early with mordheim, and it was my introduction to warhammer, which i later quit. I play in a smallish league, where I get trounced regularly.

I've just been directed over here by spetswalshe on the warseer forums and thought I'd throw up some pics of my current Mordheim warband

My name is Adam, I'm 21 and been a wargamer for about 14 years now. I'm a postgraduate student at the University of Exeter, UK. I am studying Shakespeare this year and intend to become an actor. I mainly play 40k nowadays but have a soft spot for the specialist games, Inquisitor and Necromunda particularly. Recently I got involved in a Mordheim campaign at my friendly local gaming store and decided to build and paint a warband. This has been very rewarding and I now have rather a lot of WIP fantasy miniatures earmarked for use in future games.

I'm going to start a painting log in a moment and it'd be great to hear some of your comments and criticisms over there

I know Toms boring Mordheim blog and forum for a few years now, finding it on google on a fever of finding everything Mordheim related in my first days of this game fascination.

My name is Jacek. I,m 26 and a dedicated wargamer and rpg gamer for 12 years already (or more, not sure). I am graduate maritime engineer, but right now I'm trying to find land oriented engineering job. I have moved to Manchester few months ago and right now I would like to find some players from Manchester playing Mordheim and other Games Workshop games. Apart from Mordheim I play wfb and started gathering Tau forces for wh40k. I also would like to find a group for rpg sessions, as this is what I lack the most since moving from home.

That's the reason why I am in Manchester right now. I am thinking about moving to Scotland, but I will move only if I get there a job first. Going there first and then looking for job would be really stupid in my case, as I have to take care not only of myself but also of my woman.

Is anybody going to be at North West Game Centre today? I am going there today to see what it really is. I wiil be there at 3 pm, because I have an appointment at Mersey Square at 2 pm. It is on Hallam street, right? While looking on street view on google maps I just found P3 Paints there. Is it there or somewhere near?

I won't be as I have to work today (and to be honest I've actually never been, so I can't help with directions!) but someone else from Flame On may be. It's worth joining that forum and asking!
