Hi everyone, I'm glad you like them! The process was actually really simple. We just took the extra pieces of sprue my warband came on and cut them into small pieces. Then, with a razor blade I cut each one into a crystal shape and glued them on a base in a realistic fashion. After texturizing the base with sand, my boyfriend painted them - using a final layer of ardcoat to make them shine and appear to glow!

Wow, I would not have guessed that was bits of sprue -- excellent work on the reshaping! I might now do exactly the same thing. Sprue makes so much sense...

The paintwork is good too, simple but effective, & good work on catching the light. Feel free to pass that on to the other half.
