Mordheim Warband Skirmish computer game

Has anyone else tried this game on IOS or Android? Its not bad.

So far you can play as Human mercenaries (Reikland, Middheim, Marienburg) or Skaven. The other core warbands are planned for future releases.

You field a warband of up to 8 warriors or marksmen, led by a champion. Game mechanics and skills are familiar to anyone who has played the tabletop game. Stats re mostly percentage based. It deals with hiding and line of sight very well. The screen is terrain-heavy and looks suitably Mordheimy.

As yet, there is no magic and only two hired swords (pit fighter and freelancer).

The game can be frustrating. Missile weapons seem to dominate from mid-campaign. Some stacking of skills needs urgent addressing. Money and equipment are hard to come by and there appears to be little reward for winning a game. There is an active forum for the game where alerts to bugs can be posted and the admins are good at replying.

But its pretty good overall. For NZ$4.50 I'm pretty happy.
