I've found it to be addictive myself. AND there's no Twelve Step Program, but you rarely see anyone lying in the gutter with a tube of Elmer's in his hand. Be that as it may, LOOKING GOOD! Have FUN with your Joneses!  

Looking good. There is something really visual about visible timber. Really adds to the gaming experience

Thank you BK I'm really pleased with how it's turning out. I'm currently working on the upper storey, it's just cut out foam board with pencil guides for cut outs, timber and detailing atm but I can really see it taking shape.

The large opening will be fashioned as a loading door for a warehouse which will be the theme for my board as a whole.

The latest pieces are VERY PROMISING. Not knowing exactly where you are going with either adds to their attraction. The Waterfront theme also has a lot of potential...sleazy drinking establishments & houses of ill repute in their newly ruined & mutated states sound WONDERFUL to moi. Keep on keeping on!

Thanks for the support I know it's looking pretty generic at the moment but I'm just trying to get to grips with the techniques. I'm planning something much bigger for my next building but I'm determined to get this ready for paint first.
I'm in no hurry and I'm enjoying the process immensely

You'll lose the generic look as you add more & more details to the Beasty. Your roof line is already taking on a unique appearance. AND having fun with it all is exactly what it is all about. 
One tip: before you have it fully assembled check to make sure your brush can reach all the areas that will need painting.

EXCELLENT PROGRESS! The roof adds to the overall appeal of the piece with some nice angles, which may be a bit of a challenge to tile. GREAT WORK!  

I've started tiling, I'm going for a ruined look so the tiling will be patchy.
The tiles are made using old take away lids which are sanded in one direction to give striations to the glossy surface. I'm trying to achieve a slate effect. I have chipped them to give a weathered look. https://imgur.com/vw2Nyf6

It's drawn directly onto a pizza base (given the idea by captain b!)

I would imagine that is a much more difficult proposition than drawing on foam. It does look TERRIFIC though. GREAT WORK once more!
