Mounted dregs

Hello,

One thing I've never really tried with an Undead warband is to put one or more of the dregs on horses. This would greatly increase their speed and make them a pretty cool combo with the vampire and dire wolves.

Have anyone here made any miniatures to represent dregs on horses before? What did you use?

I haven't done it with my Undead, but several players have mounted their dregs over the years we have been playing. Mostly they use Empire Knights or pistolier legs and appropriate plastic bits.

That sounds like the quickest and easiest way to get it done, for sure. However, I might have the old mounted Freelancer model in my hands soon, in which case I'll be painting him up in a dreg-like manner and use him as this. I've always liked that guy.

It would be cool if they rode on donkeys or mules, like sancho pancho style!

Speaking of Sancho Pancha there's this Don Quixote-thingy from Hell Dorado that I had been looking at. He looks bizarre in the right kind of way for an Undead warband.

The horse looks a bit too "serious" for Mordheim though, in my opinion...
