Murderheim III - 'Your First Warband' Challenge
(part one)
We ended up running our second Murderheim campaign a year or so after the Mercenary Challenge, this time taking up the challenge of each player running a Possessed warband. Unfortunately the photos have been lost to time, following a computer wipe, so I am unable to share them. Should the surface, I'll most definitely post them.
A while back our conversations centred around the 20th anniversary of Mordheim, campaigns of old, the model range, and what was the first warband that each of us had ever built and or used in games. It was then decided that would be the theme for the third season of Murderheim, essentially revisiting 'Your First Warband'.
The rules were kept fairly loose, so that should players want to use their original warband from back in the day, repaint it, or build a new one entirely utilising models that are now available to us collectors twenty or so years later they were free to explore these options.
Campaign Rules (aka the boring bit)Campaign will run for 10 consecutive games, with mulitplayer scenarios taken from the 'Blood on the Streets' official article.
We can only run a single warband, with no restarting during the campaign. Should a warband be destroyed, then that player is out of the campaign. So despite how dire things get, we're encouraged to continue until the bitter end.
Victory ConditionsFirst Place - highest number of game wins at end of campaign

Warband Creation All warbands start with the normal 500gc (aside from Marienbergers).
Hiring models, hired swords, and purchasing of equipment will follow all the normal rules outlined in the rulebook.
All warbands have a 33% cap on models with missile weapons brought to a game (additional weapons will remain in your warband's inventory for future use).
Only hired swords and equipment deemed official can be used.
Black powder weapons come with a 20% reduction in cost, as they are prone to misfiring.
