I ran into something last night that I thought I'd get some advice on. I've got my first battle in a new campaign coming up this weekend and I was reading through the rules I'll need to remember for weapons and such when I realised that the Warplock Pistol doesn't have the same special rules as a standard pistol.
I've always assumed that Warplocks can be used in close combat the same as a pistol/duelling pistol but the special rule isn't there.
Reading the description for the 'Close Combat' ability under the generic pistol stats it says something along the lines of 'pistols can be used in close combat'.
So, can you fire Warplocks in close combat or not?
Also, the rules for firing every other turn are worded differently and the Warplock version doesn't include the section on firing every turn with a brace. I assume that's a typo simply because they list the cost for a brace of Warplocks and there's no point in taking two unless it lets you fire once per turn but I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks about this.
