If your leader misses a game due to injury, and you win that game, does the stand-in leader gain the 'winning leader' bonus xp point or does it get awarded to the leader anyway?

RAW it goes to the winning leader. In my group we have house-ruled that you can give the winning leader xp to the acting leader.

I'd say +1 to Lord0. The literal RAW might be that only your captain can gain the experience, but the spirit of the rules would seem to be that whoever leads your warband to victory should gain it. My captain misses games somewhat frequently due to bum tarot card rolls, and my winning XP always goes to the leading champ.

+1 to giving the reward to the stand-in leader.

We have the 'acting leader' get the extra experience point. I can see that it might be a house rule, but it just makes more sense, unless the leader really just saw the future and provided the rest of the warband with all the information to win. I support Lord 0's interpretation though and would recommend using that.
