| Well, that's basically the question - if you charge a fear causing enemy, but that enemy is knocked down or stunned, are you then still required to take a fear test? We've always played that you have to, since nothing in the rules says otherwise... It just seems somehow counterintuitive Anyone who plays differently? | |

| Well I thought there was a rule or an FAQ that answered this, but I haven't seen it while searching. We generally play that once you are knocked down or stunned you are fair game. I thought the reason we stopped taking fear tests was in the rules, but perhaps it was just a discussion during a battle. It does come up quite often during our games. | |

| Me too, but I couldn't find one either Well, it would make sense that he's not so dangerous lying down, but it would also make sense that he might get up in just a second to eat my heart. Since there's no exception noted, I would play as we have so far - taking fear tests for fear causing enemies, no matter their condition. | |

| There is a long and honourable tradition in the movies and so forth of the person who goes up to make sure the monster is dead gets his throat torn out so we have not made any house-rules about it. A test is still needed.
After all, it is not like most people have a better than 50% chance of making it anyway.

+1. I bet we all go back to taking fear tests soon in my group. (I imagine many of our players never stopped.)
