| Subject: Selling all my terrain. Any advice? Thu 15 Aug 2013 - 14:15 | |
| Hi guys. I will be selling all my terrain in the future. I think ebay is the best option. I will start picture threads on sites that are related to miniature gaming and add a link to the auction.
If anybody has helpful advice that would benefit me I would be most grateful.
Thank you. | |

| One small piece of advice: don't start your offering at too low a price; re, Folks using eBay are looking for a deal; they are not going to automatically offer a fair price. Set you initial price at a level you could live with if the bidding doesn't elevate it...you can always lower your price in a later auction. AND I wish you THE BEST OF LUCK with the sale. | |

| Its tough selling terrain. I tried selling terrain at pop culture fair (just another comic and geek fair) didn't selling any terrain. I lost money on that day. It was kinda fun. EBay might be the way to go. I might try eBay one day. | |

| I sold quite a bit of terrain to my then local games store although most was as commission work. You might try that. For a while I also did the arts & craft show; the down part of that is that the table fee can eat up all the profit. At any rate, GOOD LUCK! | |

| Local gaming stores might be a hard sell. Only one store I know of does that, the terrain didn't ever sell and the store changed more for Magic the gathering. Arts and crafts shows is a try, might try one next year in the spring. | |

| It depends if it's scratchbuilt or not. If it's GW scenery, or Tabletop World for example, you'll find bidder on eBay I think. If not, I feel more reticent to bid on scratch built scenery, as they could be damaged during the shipping, etc... So, good luck, I hope you'll have nice surprises during the auctions | |
