| Another table shot from tonight's gaming. New water tabletop plus some ocean front rock formations including The Twisted Shark-- Not a building at all: WIP of the 'new' rock formation-- The rock is one fragment that survives of an 4' x 16' rubble pile the theatre I work for made for the play One Thousand Cranes maybe 14 yrs or so ago. I've been whittling it down into smaller pieces since. | |

| Wow, VK! This looks like the real thing (with natural light and a proper sky background, it will easily look like a real location!). Wonderful work on the rocks. Are these carved foam pieces or actual rocks? Either way, the rocky formations add a lot of realism to the overall terrain.
I want something like this!!

| Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen.
@Joao--The rocks are made from what I call white bead foam. Originally the blocks of foam were 6" to 2'-0" thick but A LOT of material was cut away. The foam is covered in fabric and several layers of various types of scenic goop.

| Thank you cianty. It would be nice to see photos of your pirate table in action again, too... A little teaser WIP of a small tower, perhaps a lighthouse... | |

| Love the buildings, and that table looks like it would be a huge amount of fun to play on.
We have some of the Crescent Root buildings, and I recommend them. He was gone for awhile, but has re-established his internet presence again; I am tempted to order more (gift-giving time coming up with Stacy's BD and Christmas).
How did you make your mashrabiyas? They really add a great deal to those buildings.
Sometimes you can find Turkish carpets made for doll houses. The ones I have seen are paper, but look pretty good when placed on the floor.
Keep up the excellent work!

| Thank you Michael, its good to see you posting on this forum again.
The mashrabiyas are made of various thicknesses of plastic sheeting, carved and grained to look like wood. The decorative trim is cut down plastic packaging from holiday lights.

| OH, but that did paint up SPLENDIDLY! It looks SO MUCH BETTER in a gaming setting ready for some action than it did here, languishing in its little box... GREAT WORK! | |
