| Hej tommies, me and serialmom finally managed to play again, this time Chance encounter scenario with empire in flames rural setting background. Well, 14 humans against my tough band of 9 stunties. the chapelguard prepares to cross the bridge, while their bowman and mistress get into backup position. another view the dwarfs form up to welcome them on the other side, while the thunderer and the engineer took up for cover in the tower. after round 3 a hard battle on the bridge made me rout with a fantastic diceroll of total 12, having a leadership of 10 helped not at all. i just had mommie right where i wanted him, caught between my hard hitting gromril boss, and two crazy slayers with ws 5 and t 5 , but the chief here screwed up! Well, yet another lucky victory for mommie and his chapelguard. _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! Bob Parkhurst: [enters] My lord? | OOOOOH! PRETTY PHOTOS! There's nothing quite like the sight of well painted minis in their natural surroundings. Thanks for a GREAT start to the day! | |

| Agreed! VERY nice settings, and well-painted minis. There are few things as frustrating in this game as an ill-timed routing roll. Oh well, there's always next time! | |

And of course what makes this terrain so awesome is due to deafnalas fantastic piece of shrooms! Well, at least mommie could hide behind them! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! Bob Parkhurst: [enters] My lord? | The lighting in the photos is wonderful! Did you play outdoors? Also you really didn't just play the one quick game then, did you? Your set up time must have been longer than the time spent playing!

| @von kurst:thanks, but the game took place inside, actually on our dining table, with a greenglaslamp above the table, so iguess i´ve just been lucky with the lighting. the setup took us the usual 45 min. , followed by our usual 2 hours gaming time, i rooted at turn 6, what a shame! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Glad to contribute to The Cause, floedebolle...good to hear MoM put them to some use. I've sent some of the Mushroom Folk off to London; they're slowly infesting all of Europe... BWAHAHAHAHA! | |

[code] And we watched soccer, so floedebolle needed even more patience with me than normally. And the root test failure was not my luck but floedbolles bad luck. The dwarfs, especially the leader is a hard bastard. Gromril armour, shield and dwarf axe is a nice and robust choice. My tactican and my leader were put OOA by the dwarf lord. I enjoyed the game, although it was a straight brawl on the bridge. I really loved DeafNalas mushrooms.
