The Duelists & Dryad look TERRIFIC. I don't care for G.W.'s take on what a Dryad is supposed to look like, but I like your conversion. The Duelists are just plain cool. NICE WORK!

I really like how the duelists painted up. Keep up the good work, and more pics please!

Wow I'm loving this blog so far. Some really nice convertions and paint jobs, keep up the great work maxxev. Also am quite interested in this Modheim project, I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Well i'm planning on trying to run the Vampire hunters campaign that the Wargame weaver blog put p (whicn I got to from a sig on tis very forum).

So the campaign needs some NPCs to represent members of the town, here is the first of them (also would work fine as a soutlander): Captain Diedrich



As per usual more angles on my blog.

The Mostly Dead look GREAT or potentially so. The Flying Thingy certainly has a lot of conversion possibilities...I'd splurge om one if my distant Hobby Store would ever get one in.

Please don't b offended, but the Captain does look quite right to moi. The 40K body just looks out of place with Renaissance arms...it's probably that different strokes thing.

Not at all offended, i'm not totally convinced with that one arm wither (the other has been carved and greenstuffed to not be puffy), i'm going to continue on as I think I can make it work in painting, but we'll see....

Yep, I just don't have any suitable ones right now . (also they are not vampire hunters, that's just the name of the campaign ).

COOL STUFF! The empty hood & skeletal hands make the Wraith suitably eerie...I like the floating effect you achieved. GREAT WORK!
Every Halloween I go hunting for useful decorations thingies. You picked up some good ones with the Uberspiders...Excellent Find!

Trying to finish off the dwarves, though I still have one more slayer to convert up.
I have to do more work to thier skin though, at the moment they are mostly sunburnt looking.... lol

Great work throughout, I really like the various warbands that you've got. The conversions and paint jobs really serve to pull all of the various members of each warband together. Keep up the good work.

Update on the terrortoise warband:

COOL STUFF! I especially like what you did with the Dregs. The Terrortoise are coming along nicely...a lot of potential there. Keep up the FINE WORK!

I have 3 more gnomes on the WIP bench but I think those guys are going to get some armour greenstuffed on them before they get arms and weapons, plus I STILL can't think of any ideas for missle weapons.
