| Hello everybody! Some weeks ago I have seeing miniatures of Wargames Factory, I saw their 'zulu warriors' and I thought to do a warband of possessed with them. I thought of basing the warband on the cult of Cthulhu from the mythology of the writer H.P. Lovecraft... I bought some parts of zulu warriors, 15 bodys and many arms (around 6€ from the buyer hoard_*_bits ). I will be doing the warband in the free moments... All the comments and ideas are welcome! The zulu warriors: Some ideas for brethren's heads: The first brethren: | |

| What a great idea! Very promising start for this project, first painted one looks good. Btw, how well those figures mix with GW stuff? About same size? | |

| Thanks for comments! The size of wargames factory is similar than GW (the two has minis of 28mm), a bit more thin bodies and the arms and hands are more small (more realistic).. but "a picture is worth a thousand words"... 1:LOTR's mini; 2:GW's mini; 3:Wargames Factory's zulu; 4:Wargames Factory's saxon; 5:GW's militia Left: Wargames Factory's saxon body with an GW's arm; Rigth: Wargames Factory's arm and GW's arm | |

| Many thanks for bothering to take those pics! I had impression they were way smaller. Judging now, they seem to fit nicely among GW stuff. | |

| Thanks! you can steal it if you want! I have two new brethren for the warband... and this is the complete group... ...I want to do two or three more with bows but first I want to begin with the beastmen, they will be something like 'fishman' (deep-ones in the context of cthulhu myth) I will use a krots bodies and legs. | |

| Awesome concept! You've put those zulus to great use. I've always wanted to grab some and could just never figure out how to use them. I may put together a little Chthulhu cult myself... | |

| Great idea, and I second the thanks for the size comparison pics. I've been interested in WF's stuff, but wasn't sure about the size. | |

| Awesome thing you mentioned Kroots for conversions for fishmen or swamp creatures. I got mine yesteday and finished assembling them today. I had to replace those sci-fi rifles with some savage orcs' weapons but it worked out in the end.

| I literally had the idea of a Lovecraftian Possessed warband today and I pop on here and see this! Yog damn it!
But seriously, really damn cool models - they look unique and actually quite scary, I can imagine them howling Cthulhu F'tagn down a ruined street before bashing someone's brains in. I'd love to see more, particularly some crazy monsters.
I do have one critique of the models however - the basing. I know its incredibly unimportant but close up the cobbles look a little 'doughy'. | |

| VERY COOL! The Hoods give the Lads a sinister aspect merely by letting the imagination wonder what they conceal. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| Thanks all for comments! Jape: yes, I should invest more time in the bases... I'm so lazy for doing bases... when I paint it (now has only with the first cap)I hope that it improves it... and for the next base I will invest more time because I bought 'Instant Mold' and I'm thinking in make a mold of a base done for myself to do 'good' bases fast in the future. JoaoS: I wait your images of it! Nowadays I have a head made but I see her slightly simple and want to modify it to make her more sinister ... and in my case the arms also I will do them with putty ... I hope that I don't sculpt it too badly... | |
