| so i’ve got an approximately 6x4 thin piece of wood in my basement which i though i might use for a mordhiem table, but the more i think about it, it looks too heavy to lug around. It’s like a quarter inch thick! What do most people use for their mordheim tables? | |

| An old table tennis table, cut out in 120x120 cm... cuite heavy, but steady as a rock, when placed on a table. | |

I don't want to put words in Benji's mouth, but I would say he uses an old table tennis table top for his board. Our group uses 1/4 inch tempered masonite for our 4x4 boards. The 4x6 boards are 5/8" particle board. Quite heavy. 1/4 inch is about as thin as you want to go. A local store uses 1/4 luaun for their game boards and they will not sit flat due to warping. | |

| I use my dining room table, with a thick dark brown cloth thrown over the top of it to keep it from getting scratched. It's convenient as it is not only able to be sized for large multiplayer games by adding the leaves to the middle, it is also right next to the sideboard and accompanying buffet. | |

| Von Kurst said it all... The table it self's too big, so I've cut it out to measure 120x120 cm (4'x4')... With a sander I've made som recesses, painted them brown/green and filled 'em up with water effect from GW, to be puddle holes. Then I've glued on some cardboard copplestones and some aquarium sand various places. Then painted and drybrushed it all... (except the water)... Because of the heavy wood the table's made of, there's no reason to worry that a player or spectator to a fine fight in the dark streets, should bump against the table and by accident shake the terrain and minis... | |

| Custom made 8x4 table, wraped in felt and at a barstool height, so you don't have to bend over too much.
Perfect for 2 games at once. or a big game, or a nice LAN party table.
