| I LOVE the minis; they really appeal to my basically bizarre nature. They have a thread about them on the Lead Adventure Forum; the photos starting on page 2 are somewhat better than in the catalog: http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=33750.15Being a sans PayPal/credit card Guy is the only thing saving me from total poverty | |

| While the concept is very interesting the minis don't really sell it to me. Compared to the quality of other recent skirmish game models (e.g. Malifaux), these all seem somewhat lacking. If I was in the market for sinking money into yet another game that I'll never play, I'll do it into one with nicer minis. I didn't think any of them were particularly bizarre though In fact, thinking about it, that's probably what puts me off - they aren't weird and wonderful enough to be a distraction for me from my myriad of Mordheim projects (let alone my armies for other systems). | |

| Thanks for the pics! My first reaction was: Hey, they look like the Brotherhood for Freebooter's Fate! Only less nice... Now, I still consider the similarity of concept somewhat striking. Whoever doesn't know the Brotherhood may look here: http://www.freebooterminiatures.de/en/catalog/freebooters-fate/brotherhoodThe quality of sculpting seems better when the minis are shown without the paintjob, but still fall behind Werner Klocke's creations imo. And while I believe Klocke's Minis are already pricey (didn't stop me from buying his Minis...), these by Vesper-On are imo a little overpriced. Nevertheless, these models might be a good alternative for a Carnevale Of Chaos warband for some people. | |

| I love love love their style! I take Harlequins and Venecian masked assassins any day. Love it!
Sure, Klocke is one of the top sculptors out there and few can compare to that. Also considering that they are a new aspiring company I am fine with their prices (unlike Freebooter).

| I do hope they last long enough for more versions of Venice as a miniature game environment to be built. Canals, shipyards and dark mansions, lairs of the deep ones, hidden temples for the cultists--lots of ideas to steal. | |

Perfect basis for a campaign in Miragliano or maybe Marienburg.

| The one on the right is throwing some shapes like he is in a 90s rave. I'd want to model him some glowsticks! | |

| And the one next to him is walking like an Egyptian.
That Ospidale miniature with the plague mask is how I always pictured Priests of Morr. I might pick up one of those if by some miracle I find the cash to.

| Any comments on their models?
I got a few Carnevale models recently and was very unimpressed with the sculpts (details, sharpness) and material (smaller bits can break very easily).
Also, the prices are roughly the same as Freebooter's (at least here in the UK), but Freebooter's stuff is streets ahead of these guys.

| Hm, interesting, Joao. I've been wanting to get some of them myself for quite some time as they perfectly fit the Gierburg vibe. Now your feedback is not so encouraging. Especially since the price is indeed what has kept me holding back so far. I should probably rather get a few more Freebooter minis first - they have quite a huge range now for the Brotherhood faction. But then again, do I really need any more models at all? | |

| Hey Chris,
Maybe I was bit harsh earlier on. I guess paying £10 for a model that doesn't look like it's worth that money is a bit annoying. Also, the models are a bit on the smaller side than the average 28mm stuff out there.
Mind you, some designs are nice and characterful.
I would suggest you having a look at the models you want and see for yourself.
Joao
