Tagnator's practice

Last week I tried highlighting again on 3 models, I tought they turned out quite good Because I still need to learn good highlighting..

Zombie is awesome
the bag on the kid is cool, the rest isn't my style, sorry
and no offence, but i don't really think the red fits the ghoul, sorry

for the highlighting, that's done awesome, keep it up

Good work Tag. Very neat. Don't hesitate to even go 1 or 2 highlighting steps further for more contrast!

Apart from that, you've done some huge improvements and my congrats for that.

But the painting is very solid, I like it all, particularly the first zombie. The Boy is a bit too blue for my liking, but otherwise very well done

Man, I love what you did with the zombie intestines to make it look wet... since it is still bleeding Great idea!

hahaha Yeah it looks kinda burned The model is the kid from the Frenzied mob set from the Mordheim range, and thanks for the compliments! , I will try to do a few more highlights on the next ones

Edit: Yes the zombie kiddo is kinda blue maybe the vamp's son?

The zombie looks really good!

The idea of turning the frenzied mob boy into a zombie is great! (the boy is from the Mordheim Frenzied Mob, Ashton)

The ghoul looks like a bubble gum monster - or Robbie Williams in the censored part of the Rock DJ music video. I kinda like it.

At first I thought you were going Daemonic with the Ghoul [looks good as a Daemon or Possessed], but the Sun Burnt Ghoul [What a Concept!] is Cool; just needs a surf board tucked under his arm.
The Zombie is PERFECT as is, may be a pinkish highlight on the guts, but otherwise Dead-on [GROAN ].
The Blue Boy is COOL! Great Idea! Kind of a Mordheim Lost Boys. It's just one highlight on the skin away from perfection. WELL DONE!

yes a agree with everyone that the zombie at the top looks really good and the ghoul looks weird! I have nothing against blue zombies though!

Zombie-flesh can't be coulorful enough!

I painted a regiment zombies for a friend quite some time ago, and used mainly neon green, some redish flesh, and some kind of blue I can't really recall.

Looked strange, but was fun to paint


Keep it up, and finish the bases, so these guys can start to crawl the streets of cursed Mordheim
