You use a clipper guys! Clip decently hard, snap the stick, and if needed trim the end with a craft knife. Cutting through a popsiclestick with ONLY a hobbyknife is not something I reccomend...xD
Theo Oh snap! I swear to Sigmar I am not a stupid kid!... usually. I'll be getting back to work on my scenery soon then!

- Theorox - this is looking excellent. I have a project in the works that requires a bell and like others have suggested, I am thinking of using a christmas decoration.
Regarding the lolly/popsicle sticks, I gave up on those early on, they are far too hard to cut even with a razor saw. I am using balsa wood for my flooring, and like Delectable Tea suggested, thin card for tiles. You have to be careful, I find that the knife tends to wander a bit.
Can't wait to see the finished product! Agreed. I save cereal boxes for tiles, etc, and for floorboards and window sections, buy balsa and thinly cut it. Popsicle sticks, which sturdy, are super huge (on a scale level), and just not too easy to work with.

| Ah, some of my houses will probably have card roofs, but I personally think they look a bit too thin...I'll use some squared bits of popsiclesticks, too, so all of them won't look this round. I'm in a bit of a chocked mood because of all the positive comments on this one building, but I really really appreciate it! I'm now working on a building with a burned-out upper floor wich the orcs have repurposed to a makeshift shooting platform/mini-stronghold/storage area. I think it's gonna look pretty good, and I'm already kinda done with the basic design. What I have left to do is add more rubble and orc fortifications and barricades, after that it'll be pretty much finished. Theo | |

| A good pair of diagonal cutters will, with a little bend, cut pop sticks evenly every time. | |

| Hello guys, I've got a bit of an update! The first of my many underground dungeon modules to come! This one is not completely finished built or anything, but it's getting there and I want to show the idea off to you. I'll probably be making 30-ish of these. I'll fill in almost all the cavern walls with pink styrofoam like I've partly done on this piece, and then I'll use filler to fill any gaps between rocks and smooth wall. Though some "walls" will just be piles of cave-rubble, about and inch or so high. The tile is 30x30cm and the height of the walls is 7cm, a little less than 3". I've got a few more in the works, but none as near completion as this one. Theo | |

| That is some great looking stuff! You seem like a resourceful and inventive fellow; mixing materials and techniques like that. I hope you're good at completing stuff as well! | |

| The Beasty has a lot of potential... VERY COOL looking mine-in-progress! It also looks like a pretty heavy weight piece with all those rocks. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| Thank you guys! Folketsfiende: Not really to be honest...xD But I will try to work on these when I have time during the summer vacation, just gotta stay on top of my Warhammer Tale stuff, too. So this month I need to finish converting and then paint 20 Arrerboyz, a Nightgoblin shaman and paint my Doomdiver. I think I've got it, though. I mostly want to get my terrain painting-ready first, and then do a few big batches of painting. Dark grey with a lighter drybrush for the stones, and paint the wood...woody. DeafNala: It is indeed heavy, but not very cumbersome, and I don't mind a bit of weight to my terrain...I'll want to build a new table though, and a shelf to hold all the tiles! (Something like the stands where you put your trays in fast-food restaurants.) So If I'm gonna have 30 of these, 15 Mordheim buildings, and 30 tiles for Warhammer terrain...that's only 75 tiles... And some odd special stuff like forts and whatnot, but I'll use those in Mordheim too...I really need to restore a house for this stuff! Theo | |

| 30-ish of these?!! My god, that's going to be an epic project!!
Still, I love the way you're using natural elements, like real rocks in your dungeon terrain. Very good choice (even if heavy).
Keep it up!

| Thank you! Yes, it should indeed be an epic project...well, I'm an epic kind of guy. The 30-ish ones will have different styles, maybe half of them with varying degrees of floor planking and the rest without any? I also plan on things like secret caverns, road forks, underground intersections, and houses built into the cave walls. And I'm still working on houses and such. Theo | |
