| Hello all. I thought I'd start a post where I could put up the stuff I was making for my table. It's mostly ( all ) WIP but I thought that putting it out there would spurr me on to actually paint some of it. As it's late (for me) I'll start of with some of the small bits and put on more tomorrow. Fences Crat and barricades Crates I'm not overly pleased with the quality of some things, but they have seen a lot of use... which does please me

| All VERY COOL & useful stuff...just the kind of thingies that add to the appearance & games-play of a table. I especially like the fences & carts. NICE WORK! | |

| Smokezombie - your stuff looks good - remember things always look better when they are painted! Especially like the cart, I haven't been brave enough to tackle cartwheels yet, keep up the good work and keep posting those photos. | |

| Thanks guys. The cart was just a bit of fun to begin with but I like it too, the wheels aren't perfect, but they weren't that hard to make either. The fences are essential for a able ( in my opinion ) and were the first thing I made. Here's some more stuff, bear in mind that all of these were made/ being made over the last year and a half ish, I won't repost my two small houses tho. A small storehouse type thing. A house with a bit of elevation. A ruined ( aren't they all? )house. A standard well. More to follow. I have some pics but they featue one of my four finest "miniatures" ( my son ) and I don't want to be told off for having him in the picture. Is it ok to post it? | |

| Nice looking W.I.P. pieces...the stonework look TERRIFIC. Everything has a lot of potential. Keep up the GOOD WORK! It is perfectly fine to post photos of your son. In fact now I'll be disappointed if you don't. | |

| All look VERY COOL! I especially like the joined buildings...lots of cool angles to the Beasty. The shot of your son's eye peering through the round window is priceless. GREAT STUFF! | |

| Thanks DeafNala, if only I could train the little powder monkey to paint them, than I'd be home and dry. In terms of the joined buildings, I made the windows a little close to the floor so I'm thinking of making it into some sort of dwarf lodgings (?perhaps?) , not sure. The limited acess to the upper levels makes it a bit of a dwarfmare.. Two more buildings to post and than thats all Ive built so far | |

| Your stuff just keeps getting better with each new post. The latest one also is similar to one of The Flame On Crews Taverns. VERY NICE WORK! The joined buildings could also be a Halfling Inn ala The Prancing Pony...or not. | |

| Now that's COOL! From my admittedly strange perspective, Mordheim buildings should be twisted, warped, & generally bizarre...that fills the bill quite nicely. While there are a lot of Towers of Pringle kicking around, yours is the first bent, leaning one I've seen. I always found the roofs on round structures to be daunting. Yours looks TERRIFIC...how did you do your tile work? Here's another take on the Pringle's can. Armorcast makes a number of resin pieces to turn soda cans & such into Sci-Fi storage tanks: | |

| Nice looking terrain. I'll second that the joined building is particularly interesting and a great piece. Great aesthetics and looks very playable at the same time. I may try to mimic it one day. | |

| Cheers everyone. @ DeafNala. I first made a cone from card ( cerial packet ) that I could glue the tiles to, the tiles were made by cutting LOTS AND LOTS of card ( cerial packet again )1cm by 2cm and weathering the bottom edge, I had to trim the top two corners so they could fit side by side. Starting at the bottom I glued them into place the top ones overlapping the one underneath it by half. the point of the tower was another cone made with thick paper. It's not hard as much as time consuming It's easier on the normal roofs as they can be layed down in strips. Even after a bit of knifework and some paint I fear it will still be easily recognisable as a pringles tube haha. On the plus side, when you buy the tubes to make a tower they come with some free crisps inside @StoneTroll. Mimic away. I get sooo much inspiration from this forum, it makes me want to be a better terrain maker, a better painter and to play more Mordheim. Just make sure to share some pics so I can steal your ideas @ Jacko'lantern. Thanks fella. How much is postage from London to Coventry? HOW MUCH!! | |

| Very nice work. Say, how did you cut/glue on the roof tiles on your tower? I made a tower and had such a hard time putting the tiles on so that they would be straight (like yours!). What's the secret? | |

| Great stuff, smokezombie! I especially love your stonework on the raised house and especially the arch. That building in particular is top-notch. Your crates are nice, if you could strip the cardboard and put in some balsa instead they'd look better than mine!
The pringles tower is the best of its kind I've seen. It really looks derelict and fits any Mordheim board perfectly. I was planning to eventually make mine a dice tower, but you've given me food for thought; I may rip off your design if you don't mind. The roof, chimney, and rubble, everything is perfect. The joined buildings are also very good looking, and I love the walls. Keep it up! | |

| Thanks very much guys @ Perry Parker. I was quite pleased with the roof on the tower, I drew a line halfway through the tiles to help me line them up, they are 1cm wide and 2cm tall, starting at the bottom of the inner cone I just worked my way up overlaping them by exactly half. They were all stuck down individually with superglue so it took a while. @ Lendro Furioso You jest surely haha, the crates are not exactly ahem... square and can't be viewed from underneath ( partly why I used card to wrap around them, it's a bit more forgiving on the un-even nature of them), I also did them in a very time consuming way that won't be repeated, if I make any more I'll try it the Lendro way High praise for the tower, thank you. I have actually started painting some of them so hopefully I'll get some pics up this week. | |

| Sadly still no new pics so I thought I'd put up some old ones I found while looking through my photobucket stuff. I now have a new cobblestone board And all the buildings are sprayed or half painted. Some in-game pics. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

| VERY COOL!; though not completed, the group shots give an idea where you're going...it looks like an EXCELLENT destination. I rather like the merry mustachioed face beaming from the Tower of Pringle; it will almost be a shame to seeing it painted out...almost. Have FUN with all the cool stuff yet to do. Now I feel guilty about not doing more on my own boards...a nap should sort that out. | |
