| Thanks, floedebolle! I think Molly has a rather sweet smile myself. I've got a couple other Hedge pieces done & two more W.I.P. ones. I hope to get up some more photos later this week...consider yourself warned. | |

| These are superb! I love the character of your little guys! Also, I got quite intrigued with some of the miniatures you captured on the background. Are they the adventurers in your spooky forest? Joao | |

| Wow, more beautiful work! I realy love the vibrant colors you use, the purple candles just really grab my attention. The Sentient Stump is just excellent. I can imagine someone walking by on a path and suddenly that huge eye opens. | |

| Thanks again, Guys! Now that baseball season is coming to a close, I'll be putting yet more time & effort into The Project...a truly frightening prospect. | |

| AND NOW as I threatened, YET MORE TRULY MEDIOCRE PHOTOS of my latest venture into Loony Land. These two pieces should complete The Circle of Stoned Hedge...ther's one remaining large piece that will fit outside The Circle; then on to the Witches' Digs, a Tower of Spookiness, Denizens et al. SO here we go...so to speak: The Center Piece of Work: The Guys on the Edge: AND an overview: As always comments & critiques would be adored...pretty much.

| Wow, these are so excellent! I love the expressions on the faces of "the guys on the edge". That's a very appropriate name for them. And seeing them all together is a treat. If there is ever a Gamer Museum, these should go in it. | |

| Thanks, luckyjoe! Your comments are GREATLY appreciated. I've been having a terrific time with all the stuff. Each new piece spawns yet more ideas for The Project from HELL! With the close of baseball season, I can see this totally taking over my life...such as it is. | |

Is that some sort of mushroom house on the right? Thanks, Amigo! That's Armorcast's Steampunk Mushroom Observatory. I picked that up with the Mushroom Furnace for the Goblin Town. You can see them here: http://armorcast.com/store/index.php?cPath=119_63

| Nice terrain, both above and below ground. I'm a fan of the trees' faces. When you finish (or have enough to fill up the table to your satisfaction), you'll have to snap one big picture with everything in it! That house you built into the rock spire reminds me a lot of the quar houses from zombiesmith's books, too: (oddly enough, the first time I heard of the quar was on this forum, I think from you Deaf!) | |

| Thanks, Myntokk! The faces & some other thingys I'm working on are among the most enjoyable projects I've ever stumbled across. This is growing beyond my expectations. The overflow of pieces will probably be gifted to Forum Folk or sold to the unwary, but I'd like to do a tour through the various boards I have envisioned. You may have heard about the Quar from moi...or not. I LOVE those little Guys...it's one of those games I would kill to get involved with just because the minis are OH-SO-COOL. Thanks for the photo. | |

| Nala, you tire me with your fantastic pieces. Can't you make something mediocre for a change? The only critique I can offer is that you should put your mind and hands to work in many different projects, so that we all can continue to enjoy your bizarre visions. | |

| Thanks for the kind commentary, folketsfiende...I'll work on achieving mediocrity; it's long been an unattainable goal. While I'm at it, here are a couple more pieces on The Edge: Looking down into the Master Tree from a bat's perspective: The Long & The Short of It: Can you spot the second eye? Other views of The Short: Closeups of The Tall, aka The Master Tree (only to himself): Van Halfling volunteered to stand between the two for a size comparison; to the top of the flame he's 2 3/4" or 69mm tall: Comments & critique, as always are WILDLY APPRECIATED. That wraps up the W.I.P. pieces. Now on to the Witches' Hut with a trio of Witchy Women, AND drakkol's FANTASTIC Jareth & Hoggle minis.

| The bat's perspective...absolutly awsome...but not as much as the hidden eye...pure genius!
I'm anxious to see how you painted my NOT SO FANTASTIC conversions!

| Love all your work i've seen. very original theme. I think the mushrooms would be nice with some painted spots, like polka dots in pattern on them? Or even taking an old tooth brush, and speckling some paint on them? I would also LOVE to see some areas like the Eye balls on the trees, painted with a high gloss finish. What works really well is 2 part epoxy painted over the finished eye balls (it ruins the brush by the way), really makes them glossy. That's what professional FX mask sculptures use. Check out the work of Sculpture Jordu Schell get some idea what i mean. http://schellstudio.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=20 | |
