4 way game of Street Brawl scenario
Wood Elves, Black Orcs, Pit Fighters, Snotling Horde
Two of the four Snotling Sneaks got lost on the way to the fight and never showed up.
The black Orcs charged all out towards me since he realized I had Fear of all his models. The Elves set up so they could fire at both of us. The Poor Pit Fighters were farther away. Archers really hurt T2 Snotlings... But two orcs went down in two turns. Young Un dead and Black Orc with Broken Leg.
The Orcs charged and butchered some poor snotlings. My Snotlings swarmed the orcs ineffectually. Fortunately the one orc we took out combined with the two the elves shot caused the orcs to rout.
I then swarmed the elves in a two on two combat. The Snotlings bravely blocked the Elf blades with their heads. But before the elves could finish off the brave snotlings a barrage of arrows, rocks and dung flew at the elves. Using the Snotling Special rule of being able to fire into combat they took out the two elves. The remaining elves were so surprised they fled.
The Pit Fighters had finally made it to charge range. They took out 4 snotlings in their initial charge. The second wave took out 4-5 more. The Snotlings suddenly realized they were being hurt and ran.
Conclusions: Snotlings are VERY weak against T or S4 attacks. The Slingshot special ammo doesn't seem to be too useful. (What would it take? Extra Range? Different Effect?) Also all the dual weilding foes are scary. So Snotlings need to be careful to get the charge, or use spears.
The big advantage Snotlings have is the ability to move through friendly snotlings and the ability to shoot into melee. Sneaks do not seem to be that useful with the Snotling Bows I gave them since they are risky and 0-5. I would think slingshots will be the best option and fire away.
