| Sweet, man! Orcs seem to be very popular with people. I'd say I don't know why, but I do have an orc warband myself, so.. uhm.. | |

| Next up is a warband I painted just a couple weeks ago for my seven year old son. We are using Middenheim rules, but he didn't exactly want the textbook Middenheim look for his guys. Actually, he picked out what weapons and such that he wanted his warband to have and then spent some time digging through my miniatures. He picked the color scheme as well. Anyway, here we go... CAPTAIN CHAMPIONS YOUNGBLOODS SWORDSMEN HANDGUNNERS BLUNDERBUS | |

| Awesome. Great Models. A nice solid Paint job. (Could I recommend paint.net to help you crop these pictures so the picture isn't 90% your table and 10% your model?) | |

| Thanks guys! Well, I am getting near the end of my painted warbands. Just a couple more to go. Next up is the Adventurer warband from Karak Azgul. I thought this was a very cool idea for a warband. For those that haven't seen it, it is taken straight from the classic old school D&D party of adventurers - a wizard, a barbarian, a dwarf, an elf, and the Imperial Noble supported by nameless and faceless hirelings and henchmen. Ok, maybe the Imperial Noble isn't a classic D&D character, but you get the idea. Anyway, the warband has only one type of henchmen - Cannon Fodder. These guys are vanilla humans with a fair selection of weapons and armor. I thought it would be cool to model them all with the same head to further reinforce the nameless faceless nature of the poor hireling that will end up dying after an adventure or two. WARBAND WIZARD BARBARIAN DWARF ELF IMPERIAL NOBLE CANNON FODDER - CROSSBOWS CANNON FODDER - SWORD & AXE - I actually have two of these guys. One is in the shop for repairs... CANNON FODDER - SPEAR & SHIELD | |

Hahaha. That is absolutely hilarious. Good work. I've heard this warband is a nice and powerful one. What's your opinion of it? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. I've played it a bit, but no one else in my gaming group has so my opinion is only based on that. You start with 5 heros each with a different set of strengths and weaknesses. That is good. All five of the heros are solid and have a real use. The one main downside is you never know who the "leader" will be before each game. You can easily end up with the hero with lowest Leadership leading your warband for a scenario. That can kinda' hurt I guess. The Cannon Fodder henchmen are total vanilla humans. They have a pretty fair selection of weapons and armor to pick from, but no special abilities, rules, etc. I usually start the warband by buying all five heros with pretty good equipment. I then spend any extra cash buying cannon fodder crossbowmen until I have three. Then I buy cannon fodder fighter types. I wouldn't consider them a weak warband by any means, but I didn't find them to be superpowerful either. Of course I only played them in a couple campaigns so those who have played them extensively might have a better take on that.

| Hey gang! Been gone for a week of vacation with the family. Just got home and thought I'd upload another set of pics from another of my warbands. This time up - Reiklanders. This is sort of an odd collection of minis. I first painted the Heros and the Marksmen. After a game or two in the first campaign I used them, I hired some swordsmen. For some reason, I bought them a sword and a shield instead of two swords. After a game or two, I swapped their shields for swords. Anyway, here they are... WARBAND CAPTAIN HEROS YOUNGBLOODS MARKSMEN SWORDSMEN - Sword and Shield SWORDSMEN - Two Swords I have always ejnoyed playing these guys. | |

| They are ALL very cool. At this stage I was going to pick out a favorite, & I couldn't decide [imminent senility rears it's ugly head]. Ash was right; i.e., you have such a consistently excellent style that they ALL become favorites. WELL DONE! | |

| Just a little remark: if you have the time, maybe you could try and crop your pics a little bit next time. That way the page loads faster. Not that it is a problem though _________________ | |

| You are right and I'll try to do that. I know almost nothing about taking pictures and doing stuff with them on my computer. I started fooling around some with that today and have learned a bit.
I just started work on a new terrain project. I'll take pics of the terrain as I work on it and will do my best to crop those pics before I post them here.
thanks! | |

| No problem Looking forward to seeing your terrain. You might want to try IrfanView for all your cropping/brightness etc photo-needs. _________________ | |
