I had a idea for a themed Pirate warband and noticed my stockpile of human bits is lacking...

If anyone has suggestions as to what humans (bits) make the best Pirates they would be appreciated Very Happy

And if anyone is looking to off load some of their bits let me know pls.

While I don't have any spare human bits at the moment, I do recommend having a look at Black Scorpion Miniatures.

they have some great pirates and fantasy pirates.

Scale wise they are not far off GW stuff, and the casting quality is excellent.

Empire free company look piratastic just hook a few hands and peg a few legs and you're sorted

or go slayer pirates and write up your own rules

The free company set is exactly what you need. It has a head with a bandanna, one with a poatch and pirate hat, long coats and legs in ragged pants. Ther's also an arm holding a cutlass/sabre. I have a few spare heads and sword arms if you'd like them.

Ill take the extra heads and arms you have, just let me know what you’d like for them. It gets frustrating when you need a arm without a weapon and you can’t really find one and have to keep chopping things off…
