Bretonnian Battle Pilgrims

Subject: Bretonnian Battle Pilgrims Thu 12 Aug 2010 - 5:11

I'm thinking of getting a set of Bretonnian battle pilgrims to use in a witch hunter warband (one as the warrior priest and the others as zealots). Does anyone have these modesl or do you know if their weapon and shield are separate or already attached? I'd like to convert them but don't really like having to cut away metal from models.

I have actually found out they work GREAT as zealots, so go for that Smile

I dont know about how to get them, but I think they are standard GW stock, and could be found on their mail order site as well as any retailer.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure they are sold in stores. My nearest one is a bus trip across town.

Great. Oh, and btw, the weapons are molded to the models, but can be easily removed (thin swords basically. I removed them and equipped them with flails and morningstars, making some Flagellants also). The shields, however, are not attached to the model.

hey dave , i can only recomment those modells to you, i myself made those pilgrims zealots and heroes for my witch hunterwarband, wich i sold on ebay some time ago, but i do have some pictures for you, with a little bit of converting them, hope they can help you, grets, floedebolle

Is that the Emperors Champion sword on one of the Zealots? Id love to see the whole model equipped with it, just for a chance to get a look on the size of that blade compared to the model Smile

Thanks for advice. I have ordered them. I went into my local GW store but it is stocking fewer metal models and focussing on the plastic sets. You now have to order most metal models online. That's OK I guess but soon I'll have no reason to go to the store at all.

Floedebolle, really nice conversions. You've showed me what can be done with the pilgrims and I'm lookinf forward to getting to work on them.

These look great. If I'd known about them before I purchased other things I would of grabbed them instead of the militia box set...

I think I still might grab them... ^_^
