Fishmen Warband Rules

Does anyone know if there is a fishmen warband or if someone's attempting to make one as I think this would be an awesome warband to play as.

It's just a vicious plot to drive up the price of canned tuna & cat food...the Devil made Old Jones do it.

I am surprised that after the Pirates of the Caribbean movies there aren't a lot of Man/Fish warbands for Sartosa.

You know, fish are the biggest part of Mordheim for me...I'd love to see a fishman warband.

I mean the rules...I get my fish and orc fix by looking at Kurgan's conversions.

Also, Deaf, are you paid by Reaper to advertise for them? I swear you find the PERFECT mini for everything, and they are all reaper minis!

Though be warned- the Bogtrogs are equivalent to man sized, whereas the Gatormen are all based/ sized as WH40K Terminators.

That's alright. I've been playing Mordheim & Fantasy since I was a kid, but took a break during university when I knew some people who played Warmachine/ Hordes, so I jumped on board. It's not as famous (though its getting there) as Games Workshops stuff but they have some absolutely fantastic stuff- though it's slightly more pricey as they've only just begun converting sets into plastic. The models are not only nicely detailed, but really solid as well, especially the heavy warbeasts, like Snap Jaw

PP models are incredible. The models are VERY solid. The only downside is that some of the warbeasts are hard as sin to put together, often requiring a decent amount of greenstuff.

If Hordes/Warmachine has a skirmish game like Mordheim, I would be in love. I am a big Trollbloods fan.

Oh there are ample published quotations available - and you don't even need to be able to open your eyes underwater to read them folks.

Aquatic fiends are the next big thing in Mordheim warbands. The Lord of Predators commands it... now, show us your tentacles.

The closest existing warband you're going to find are probaby the Lizardmen... most of the units are Aquatic, and their stats are different enough from humans that they seem "exotic".

Those were some groovy conversions. Great shame they weren't painted.

Another member of the forum posted some fishy Bloodletter conversions where he'd sculpted squid-heads onto the warriors. I liked Fishman's warriors a lot though due to the variations of weapons he'd used. The trident's looked great and fit the theme a lot better than using swords. The odd schimitar or cutlass wouldn't go amiss though.
