NWN PW - Wake

In about one and a half hours, a new Neverwinter Nights PW module will premier launch. Sure, it may be too late to join in on the premiere day, as one must send in a short application and a bios for a character, but I strongly recommend all roleplaying lovers here (that means: All of you) to go to:

Create a forum log in and fill in the application.

NOTE: Of course you are required to own NWN, expansion Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark + some downloadable content (available on the site) to play, but if you have the slightest interest in these things, then you probably already got that covered

Great! I happen to own (and sometimes play) NWN with a friend of mine.

Is it an expension, or really "just a" campaign. I run NWN on linux, so I want to know if I'm able to run it...

No its a Persistent World Multiplayer Roleplaying server. An open world where the players get to partcicipate in creating it, building the world together as we, and roleplaying is pretty hard.

As long as you have the first two expansion packs, the rest can be downloaded for free from the site. You can also get help in the forum as well.

I dont think it will matter if you play on Linux, though, but I cant see why not. Besides, as it is free, you might as well just try

Disencouraging: The fact that the files van be downloaded through a "handy installer.exe" ... right ... .exe ... doesn't run on Tux.

I do have a windows XP laying about, so I might install a virtual machine for stupid things like this

Nevermind that. Not only does the frigging installer update 3x before launching, it is also required to play (as so it seems). Since it won't run on tux, I'm sh*t out of luck.
