| Asp, Asp, please. Let's take a step back here.
I do not think you can apply a psychological score to anyone based on what you experience on a forum.
You seem to have a keen interest in psychology (which is a good thing), so I am once more surprised by how little consideration you give to a scientific approach of the matter.
I am sure you know that Myer-Briggs physchological indicators are highly subjective, give only an approximate character description, are unrelyable (people test differently depending on their mood), have been criticised, but above all, the way you calculate them is by "honest self-reporting" (quote: wikipedia).
Therefore, making MB scores up for other people is little more than a funny little game at best, utter nonsense at worst.
In other words: It's like saying: "I don't have a microscope, no matter, I'll write a book about microorganisms by imagining what they could look like". The unknowns are too great.
Conclusion: First, I don't care if you think about my psychological profile. That is your right and I am flattered that I seem to be such an important aspect of your life that you would spend time pondering my inner workings, alongsides Descartes, Darwin (one of my heroes) and Kant. However I would like to propose the following to you: try to be scientific when you make claims. Think about how solid your "data" is, How can you possibly write something like "Tom = blablabla". The mathematical sign "equals" is absolute. How can you know that? You CANNOT. Secondly, in the future, keep your opinions about other people to yourself. Believe me, you would prefer if we did the same. Some people may be offended if they find that you try to publicly squeeze them into a category without any evidence. You may (productively) criticise content, ideas, but on this forum I do not want you to try and judge people per se. I understand that MB scores are not judgements, but in this context they can be percieved as such by some people.
I hope I made my point clearly and that you can at least agree with the general concept. I also hope that this discussion is now over and this thread can be closed.
Let us know. _________________

| now tom, im cool with your post but you seem to assume some premises here that i dont follow
- mbti isnt scientific and even if it was, the system i am using is not really mbti (although compatible)
- there are many reasons why mbti is not scientific but one very good one is the complexity of the concepts make them hard to measure
- yes the project is speculatory. many things are and were. as to your example, kant took some wild guesses on astronomy without a telescope. some turned out to be right
- my use of 'equals' was informal. sure, it wrong to use it as such the formal sense

| Asp, are you using any kind of medication? Since this might explain your now and then attacking behaviour, your loss of memory and also the not-seeing-how-you-may-have-offended-people.
Tom and Cianty are friends of mine, not only on this forum but I've also met them. I will not tolerate you either judging or offending them, since that makes me feel offended too. This probably isn't very moderator-ish, and maybe I even suck at moderating, but I don't want to see you judging anyone else openly without asking their permission, or else you'll have to face the consequences.
However, I'd really like to see how you think about this subject, but I don't think everyone should have to read that since it's off-topic, so please PM me your thoughts. Best regards, Matt. _________________ ..and by a roll of the dice you go under..
