Any sci-fi shooter games similar to Star Wars Battlefront?

My parents are not big fans of violent games, although my dad enjoy's
playing Star Wars Battlefront. I mean, it's a cool game, but it get's
old.

Are their any other pretty good games like that? We have a PS2,
Gamecube, and Wii.

For those systems I have no clue, we have a WII, and I just got my son Monster Hunter Tri. Not Sci fi, but such a cool game none the less. Sorry for the non help in this matter. For 360 AVP is pretty cool, once you get used to the controls.

You got a pc? Battlefield 2013 (or somesuch) is supposed to be a good game. Haven't played it myself though.

Though the best Sci-Fi shooters for PC are the games in the STALKER series.

For ps2 I could recommend... uhm... well, i've had a ps2 for, well, forever, and I cant think of anything else than Killzone.

Killzone is pretty violent, very good graphic (by ps2 standards anyway) and HARD, but is very well made, and also very much SciFi.

If want to be stuck to the PC... Borderlands, Bio Shock and Bio Shock 2... and for your old man? How about Star Wars Republic Commando and... hold on to your panties... Star Wars Battlefront 2!!!
